    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting 02civic:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm not sure if i agree with you Knicks Analyst. You're entitled to your opinions of course. but it seems as though Knicks games are always being nationally televised, and sports beat writers were predicing they'd win the Atlantic and seed 3rd in the East. Now i dont see how thats not enough credit. The play of the team last year and certainly this year do not coincide with the belief they are underrated. Almost everyone picks them to be in the playoffs....between 3-7....but as i've said before..and proven at lenght, there are some quality teams that are a good match for the Knicks that too many Knicks fans view as being inferior. Toronto for example, as well as Washington. It becomes annoying for us...as fans of other teams, to constantly have Knicks fans coming to forums with this superiority complex like the game has already been played and won by the Knicks...and when they DONT win, its brushed off like it was a "never suppose to happen, one in a million game". And it happens over and over and over. No other team does that, not the spurs, not the heat, not even Detroit.
    Now if this is lock worthy, than i apoligize. I'm certainly not arguing or being negetive towards anybody...just stating that people should be more conciderate and understand as well that no team is a sure thing, and ANY team can beat ANYONE on any given night.</div>

    I don't understand what you mean. The Knicks and the Raptors only played one game this year. So what do you mean it happens over and over again? The Knicks shots were ice cold while Toronto was on fire. What can you do if you're shots just are'nt falling? The Raptors also shoot 44.1% from the field which is only .5% higher than the Knicks that doesn't say much about the Raptors either.

    When the Knick players were missing all of those open shots and the Raptors making all of those contested ones proves it's a fluke. We will see how good your Raptors are on Saturday when they play in a rematch
    </div>

    How can you classify that as a "fluke"?
    It's like you're saying that all the shots the Raptors threw up weren't supposed to go in, they just went in by luck. And that's just false.
    Knicks misssing open shots= Their faults.
    Raptors making contested shots= skills.
    You don't make the NBA based on abolsutely no shooting range. And Milt is a horrible shooter but he only got 2 or so shots as Og15 stated so I don't know who exactly you're reffering to as having 'flukey shots'. Almost everyone else on our team aside from Loren Woods is a average to above average shooter.

    No, we will see how good your Knicks are on saturday. It's not the Raptors confidence that has been somewhat crushed. I expect a good matchup but I'm not gonna go out on a limb and gurantee a victory like you Knicks fans were doing prior to yesterdays game.
    Hey, it's an NBA game, anything can happen, but if the Knicks blow out the Raptors, I won't degrade the winning team to the point where I call the entire effort and win a "fluke".

    All this talk of flukes and stuff-it's really not going anywhere. This discussion is dead.

    The Knicks fans and Raps fans disagree, we argued, they argued. No one's mind was changed, some unnecessary words were typed. This type of argument doesn't result to anything but childish name calling or mocking the other's team.

    Let's not forget, we're all NBA Analysts in our own respects and there is no need to force-feed an idea or opinion to a fellow analyst.
    This thread has no where to go but down.

    Call the game a fluke, call the Knicks performance cruddy, it doesn't matter. The Raptor beat the New York Knicks, that's all there is to say after the argument is over.

    This thread can't possible be revived with a lighter spirit so I will lock it. I hope this type of arguement and misuse of words doesn't happen again.
