<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 02civic:</div><div class="quote_post">i dont think they'll do it. Like i've said before, the Pistons thrived has the underdog...but people are all thinking their a lock for top 2 teams in the east and a trip to the conference finals. I think they'll struggle.....maybe grab home court with the 4 spot but i see it going Miami, Cleveland, Orlando, Detroit. After that i think it'll be Indiana, Washington, Toronto, New York. 1-5 i'm almost sure of. 6-8 could go either way..but those are the teams i see making the playoffs.
I see the Spurs winning it. Dont be surprised to see a teams like Cleveland and Orlando in the conferance finals people.</div>

Wow...interesting predictions. In my opinion, I see Detroit above Cleveland, both record and seedwise, same with Orlando. Just because Detroit is struggling now, doesn't mean they'll continue. And really, it doesn't matter if you're an underdog. If you thrive being the underdog come playoff time, than you should intentionally snag a lower seed. But, they're the same team as they were last year, only diff is they added Dice and signed Sheed to a long term deal. This team will begin to surge here soon, specifically when Ben Wallace gets back. I wouldn't doubt to see them in the drivers seat of their division sometime shortly after or before the All Star break. They're far too good a team to continue their sub-par play.

^^ Thank you. It seems as if somebody besides me actually realizes how good we really are. Every team has their struggles, early, late whatever. It doesn't mean that they're not good. It takes time, like Mook2k4 said we're too good to keep playing this way.

I say they definitely could repeat, i mean look at what we did last year and the last 3 seasons it's ridicious to say cleveland and orlando finish with a higher seed than the pistons. Knowing joe D if we are still struggling at the all-star break that's when we pull a trade, remember last year? This organization is commited to winning and the pistons did have an underdog tag only because they were an eastern conference team and for the last 6 years every analyst and most people thought who would win the west would win the finals. Indiana had the best record in the nba last year and if they played the lakers people would have called them an underdog.
