<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm getting tired of hearing Melo getting blamed for Club fight. If anybody wouldn't have done what he did, then that person is probably a wussy.</div> Thank you. If any one of you say that would not have done the same as melo i dont know how you can call yourself a man. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Anyone defending Melo in this instance is off base. Am I the only one who realizes that he's just a younger version of Artest? The only difference between the two is that Melo does his stupid stuff off the court. </div> MELO DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG HERE. he did the RIGHT thing and turned this case over to the police. If you wanna blame him for wearing the shirt and not voting, ill understand it. The weed, id understand it.If you want to call him a selfish olympian, id understand. But this and the bar fight, no melo did the right thing. And please dont compare Anthony to artest. They are too totally different people. Besides Melo isnt the first player to get into some trouble during his NBA career. If you want to crucify him, crucify the hundreds of other players who have had troubles in their career. He still is a young man who is trying to find himself. He has hit rough stuff this year and this mostly likely wont be the last thing to come into his way. But please keep in mind the man is only 20. He'll mature. And please dont bring LeBron into this because again they are two totally different people. Bron is a very mature and a tremendous individual. Even though hes anything but my favorite player, i have the most respect for him. Because hes a great player and hes handle the transition into the NBA fantastic. But again Melo and LeBron and different people and Melo is having a harder time, but he'll get through it.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting boogieman470:</div><div class="quote_post">No, Artest is a thug, Melo isnt. And you truly are ignorant person.</div> Melo hasn't yet proven to be a "thug" but trust me he will. And no, I'm not ignorant I'm a realist.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Jurassic:</div><div class="quote_post">You're right, Carmelo is not allstar calibre, Artest is. </div> Remember, Melo is in his second season. As far as his season goes, despite all-star worthy averages, I don't think the West coach (whoever he's gonna be) is going to select Melo for this year's team. I would say a big part of that is his inability to carry a team so far... I don't think Melo has shown he can make the team better, at least for this season. Last season, it was clear that Melo carried the team, but it seems like he took a step backward this season. But he'll figure it out, and once he does it's a matter of how many All Star teams he's gonna make. As for Artest, no question he's an All Star... if he wasn't suspended, he'll make it again this year. IMO, he'd been the best Pacer this year, not O'Neal, the guy can not only defend but score when his team needs him to.
If someone spit in my girls face and would probably break his frikkin legs. And The show punk'd got Melo and in that video he almost punched the guy in the face. It was halarious. Melo is getting charged for stuff he didn't do its sad. but the thing on punk'd was true.
