The last two games I've noticed the same vince i saw last year in march. Hes bringing it to the table, accept theres less minutes. If he continues to play like this, we're gonna see a lot of highlights, and hopefully we don't trade him, cuz rite now things are looking good.
Well, two games might not mean anything. Vince hasn't been consistent with his performance so far this season, so there should be no reason to say he's back after just two good games. However, he might have realized that he could play good, and play out of Toronto playing good, and that's why we see the increased effort.
Great move doing 4 dunks in the last 2 games by Vince(especialy the windmill), cuz he said he didn't wanna dunk anymore...SURE
I heard something about Vince saying he was trying to play "perfect" basketball the first few games, but it just wasn't working, and now he's just going out there to have fun, and you can definately see the change in his play. He said something to the effect of he was trying to play perfect basketball the first 10 games and decided that he just loves to play ball and to go out and have fun on the court which he said he's been doin that the past two games, and it has been working.
Antawn Jamison is a miracle worker. Not only does this guy motivate his own teammates, he takes the time to talk with Vince, to try help him with his problems. Sure looks like he talked some sense into him.
Yea Jamison has been great in the locker room and as a leader for the Wizards, and it seems like he's also motivated Vince, I hope he can have this effect on Kwame too, but Kwame seems to be ready to play this year anyways.
You can't say he's "bringing it" based on 2 games. Carter should be playing well almost every game, he is the apperent franchise player. It's amazing to see that now a days people are suprised and all happy when Carter scores 25 points in a loss (like to the Wizards). That just shows you how much he's fallen up. Hopefully Antawn talked some sense into him and Carter will actleast show some effort and look like he's trying to win a game.
Remember, Carter was in Antawn's role when Jamison was struggling in Golden State. It's always good to have close friends who could stand by you when you're down, especially for professional athletes who get way too much attention into their personal life and get stressed like they eat breakfast. Jamison and Mitchell's advice apparently worked on raising the level of play of not just Vince, but the entire team - minus Jerome Moiso.

So since he got 4 points in two games, we have a right to see hes finally bringing it. It wasn't only the four points, its the way he got those four points, 'ugly'. But now hes playing like last year, which is good enuff.
i dont know if you can say that he's "back" but there is no question at least in my mind, that the vince iv seen in the passed two games is most certainly a different vince then the one i saw previously. just his demeanor on the court seems better. i hope he can keep it up
He has been playing fairly well, but 2 games means nothing. Until he shows me that he can put up a consistent effort while the team wins a share of games, I will not give him any more credit. Even after these two games I still want him traded, unless he can prove me wrong in the next 10 games or so.
If two games means nothin, then how bout if I tell you guys that Vince has scored 20+ ion 4 out of his last 6 games. And he has brought his shooting percentage above 40%. So the only thing left for Vince is to keep playing the way he is (very easy for him, if you watched him last night, and the night before). The Vince we saw in the first 10 games, is a vince that I never saw. He was prolly playing bad due to three things. 1) He was sad that he lost money. 2) He thought he was going to get traded early so he didn't care. 3) His shots weren't falling because of his laziness during the offseason. Now Vince is back in shape. You could tell. Just a couple of games ago, Vince wouldn't have dunked like he did against Washington on the break, he would have spun, and done some sucky floater. The man is bringing it.

Another thing, no one here on this earth could come even close to making a legitimate excuse for Vince, its disturbing how people can defend him after what hes brought this organization through over the last 3-5 months.
well vince certainly has played better after tlaking to jamison...but i m still not satisfied...i m expecting him to raise his intensity and get back to what he did in feb-march last season..
Its all Sam Mitchell's plan, hes trying to get his starter's fired up, especially Vince. Thats why he tries to torture Vince on the bench during the fourth quarter. But Vince seems affected in a positive way (eg after four against San Antonio 25- against Washingtom, another eg, after 4 against Portland- back to back 21 point games. The man will be fine, I agree with ur guys points on his attitude and whinin, and lack of effort. The man was on a slump, now its gone. Trust me, wait for 20 games. I guarentee u'll be apologizing to me.
..ya....we'll be apologizing to u...right....and who was it b4 that called carter the biggest disgrace of all time? ...see i was correct ...vince plays good and u kiss his ass ..when hes on a slump ...DISGRACE its funny how ppl can change their opinions completely with two 20 point games
lmao^^ he got banned but ya... event hough hes playing good i dont like his atitude and he might not stay like this..
