The few. The proud. The Orlando Magic.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The addition of four players during the offseason from winning teams in the Western Conference -- which NBA studio analyst Charles Barkley of TNT often compares to the Marines while dismissing the Eastern Conference as a version of the National Guard -- is already making a huge impact.

Going into their game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Magic have a 4-0 record against the West compared to a 4-24 mark a year ago.

General manager John Weisbrod denies the massive reshaping of the roster was done with a wide-open Western style of play in mind. After all, the Houston Rockets averaged less than 90 points a game with Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato as starters, while the San Antonio Spurs weren't much more offensive-minded during Hedo Turkoglu's one season with them.</div>

The article suggests that one of the main reasons for our success this season is due to us importing a couple western conference players. Though I agree that is a huge part getting players like francis, mobely, hedo, and cato the main reason for our success comes back to the great play of Grant Hill.

Hill has always been the wild card for us as a team having him healthy opens up the game so much for us. He is a small forward that has point guard skills so he can handle the ball more than the average small forward. As well as the scoring he gives us he is a huge part of our success.

The reason Hill is so effective is because he can score, and make the pass. A lot of players can make the pass, but he ALWAYS makes that extra pass, you hardly see him make a bad shot, his shot selection is marvalous.
