<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As Allan Houston was in one corner of the visiting locker room Wednesday night in Toronto, talking about his imminent return to the Knicks' active roster after an eight-month absence, Penny Hardaway stood 10 feet away, talking about the handwriting he sees on the wall. "Well, I think -- just looking at it, out of all of us, I think I'll be the one that'll probably have to sacrifice my minutes for Allan to come back," Hardaway said, when asked what he thought would happen to the playing rotation once Houston returns. "I'm sure that Coach (Lenny Wilkens) will work it out, but if it's between us, then I'll have to be the guy that falls back." </div> Link I wouldn't worry guys, I'm sure he'll be worked in there, it happened at the end of last year, just split his 25 minutes in half. I see Hardaway playing anywhere from 8-24 minutes in any given game, of course that number of minutes is interdependant on his teammates, that's a given. I wouldn't worry, though.
Hardaway's been playing great basketball so far. I see no reason for his minutes to drastically decrease. This squad is going to be very effective with Hardaway providing off the bench or possobly starting. Hardaway will be fine.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Tribute to H2O:</div><div class="quote_post">Start Houston at small forward. Remove TT from the rotation completely. Penny wont lose any minutes.</div> Yea, that's the best option Lenny has right now. Just hope that Allan plays good D when he returns.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ming637:</div><div class="quote_post">Yea, that's the best option Lenny has right now. Just hope that Allan plays good D when he returns.</div> Well he wont do worse than TT that's for sure.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Tribute to H2O:</div><div class="quote_post">Well he wont do worse than TT that's for sure.</div> TT has been playing pretty good defense thus far. His offense and overall game have been terrible.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting mrj18:</div><div class="quote_post">TT has been playing pretty good defense thus far. His defense has been up to his usual-poor. :thumbsdow He still turns his head away from the guy who has the ball. He never takes the charge, he wouldn't want any harm done to his nails, it makes me sick to my stomach. And then I think to myself: "This worthless bum is making millions of dollars to do this for a team who's fans hate him?" Tim Thomas is not the mark of an accomplished figure, and he has no defense, no heart, determination, no care for his team, no will to win. Tim Thomas cares about money. That's all.
"Great job, Isiah. You let Fratello get away, and now he's going to Memphis. Even though Fratello would have been perfect for New York, before you made that STUPID KVH-TT trade, and messed up the team's chemistry for years to come. Idiot." Nice sig . And oh yeah TT sucks and Houston should start at small forward.
If Penny Hardaway falls under 20 minutes a game, I will state that I will be disgusted and insulted by the coaching staff for their lack of respect and reasoning. He has been playing well of recent, and its a shame that Tim Thomas can suck and still play more minutes. I don't get it!
They are supposedly letting him try his and find the remnants of his lost game. But, a good thing is Wilkens said he hasn't got time to wait around for TT.
