He has had a pretty crummy year shooting wise until recently, do you think he has a future with the Wizards or he will be cut loose once his contract ends? I think the Wizards will have to decide between either him and Larry, and I dont think Larry will settle for being the 4th option once Kwame comes back. Jarvis, while he would settle for it, wouldnt produce as much as Larry does. What do you guys think about Jarvis? and who would you rather ahve Larry or Jarvis?

im not a wizards fan, but the reason i liked the reason the wizards this year is coz of antawn jamison, whom i been supporting for the past 2 years. as for the subject, keep larry hughes and use jarvis hayes to trade for someone valuable. jarvis has shown he has the talent and potential to be a future all star, but the kid is wasting his talents by staying on the bench. i think jarvis should work on improving his game for the next 3 years, then be traded to another team, where he will become the 2nd or even 1st options. seriously, this guy can ball, ever since he proven to me last season he was able to pick up jerry stackhouse's scoring load.

    (oops my bad, spelling errors)

Lol flame Larry Brown? Do you meen Larry Hughes, it's cool man. We could get some real good talent for him. We should try and ship him, and someone else for a good starting center so that Kwame can play PF, and we can take Jeffries out of the starting lineup.

Are you guys blind? A good starting C...we freaking have one in Haywood..no one pays attention to him this year, thats why he gets so much hate, you sound so ignorant when you say that..pay attention and you will see he is a good starting center.

Oh my lord. Can you please show Brendan Haywood some love? Have you even studied the Wiz for a minute? Haywood is 3 times the player than you're giving him credit for. Against Philly yesterday he had 14 points and 14 rebounds on 7-10 shooting. And 6 of those boards were offensive. He only commited one turnover as well. And he's avergaing 9 and 8 on the year with a FG% of 50. Show him some respect. He mat not be great, but he's good.

I know he is a good center, I never said he was bad. But I am sure we can do better. I love Haywood he is a Tar Heel, and he is a good player. But if we can have a Center just a little bit better than him, and then him coming off the bench that would be great. But basically this thread is about Jarvis Hayes not Haywood, and you guys have twisted my words into me bashing Haywood. I just was saying what we could get for Hayes.

I don't know what those who were hating on Haywood have been seeing in games, sure Haywood is no offensive juggernaut, he's still a one or 2 posts ups a game, and score off offensive rebounds and dishes inside, but he's one of the better centers in the league.

Everyone thought he had bad hands, be we found out he had broken fingers, he's a good rebounder, good defender, good shot blocker, I don't know what else we need from him especially in a team with so many offensive weapons. I think if we can lock up our whole frontline of Kwame, Haywood and Etan for a long time, they can develop into a dominating inside presence in the East.

Even JJ is starting to look good, he's been great on the boards, playing good defense, and his offense still isn't where people thought it would be, but we don't need much more offense anyways.

EDIT: I don't know about Hayes, he's not that good defensively, seems a little outmatched at SF, and isn't quick enough for SG, but he's got pretty good offensive skills, and he's a good shooter for the most part. I don't think he'll stay, the team needs to get a defensive SG type player, if we could trade Hayes and Dixon for Pietrus or something I would cry, but it's not happening.
Hayes would still be good as a backup though, but if Hughes returns, and we sign Kwame back, their won't be too much money left down the road. Every team needs it's role players, so if we can get that shooter/defender role player while allowing Hayes or Hughes to go to a team that they can be 2nd or 3rd options then it will be fine.
