Pistons fans, I am making my stand. I am sick and tired of people blaming the Pistons and their fans for the fight that happened a week ago. Are players are not the ones who jumped into the stands with the intent to cause harm to someone. Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, Jermain O?Neal and various other Pacer players. I am also sick of seeing and hearing Pacer fans defend their players. Is what they did not wrong? What would have happen if children would have been in the way? How can you support thugs like Jackson and Artest? I don?t see anyone supporting the guy who threw the cup at Artest. For some reason the Pistons have came off as the Villains. Are we guilty by association? For some reason the Pacers have came across as hero?s. Everyone seems to be applauding their team. Why is that? They are the team that went into the stands. They are the team that was throwing haymakers like it was going out of style. So here it; I am making my stand as a Piston fan. I BELIEVE in this team! They are going through a rough start, but I believe they will turn it around. I believe in Joe Dumars and the team he has built. Let?s face it; he has been in this league and around basketball a lot more than we have. He has built a Championship Team, yet people criticize him. Would you like it if he came to your job and told you that you were doing it wrong? I even believe in Darko! Yup, I might be crazy?but I think he will become a good player. He just may be our future if we don?t give up on him. I BELIEVE this team will be the best team when this LONG season has came to a close. I believe! Do you?
No. Just look at how abismally they are playing! I don't know they could turn it around and start winning more and repeat. It's hard to tell this early. But that's just my two cents.

Most of the elite don't start playing til december/january time.
i dont see them repeating. Last year they played with heart, being the huge underdogs...people didnt expect them to get far in the playoffs...despite their play in the season. This year though people are all predicting them to win again, and i think they'll get lax because of it. I predict a second round exit after entering the playoffs with the 3rd best record in the east.
As of right now, I don't know if I believe or not. I can't determine how good this team is or predict how well they might do in the season because of how they are slacking. They really do put their minds to it when playoff time comes around ("Most of the elite don't start playing til december/january time." - AllNet). But since it is the beginning of the season, they don't care what happens. They probably are saving their energy for playoff time because they are going to need. How well can Ben Wallace take on Shaq without a Kobe tagging along? I don't know. But it isn't looking like repeat for me.
Man, don't give up on the Pistons. I mean, we don't use training camp like we should, we haven't had the whole entire team here for a good period of time, the brawl is going to have an emotional effect on the guys, and we're the defending champs. First of all, it's normal for the defending champs to start off like this, and second we have even more problems. So I'm with you Pistons 4 Sho, I BELIEVE in this team. BTW this post sounds alot like a post I've read on another message board.
