I'm No Miss Cleo but, do you agree with me that the same thing that happened in Detroit will happen in Indiana on Christmas. Something tells me the Pacers fans (I'm a Pacer fan, but I don't live there) will do the exact same thing to the Pistons. I know i'd throw a cup. With the way these fans have dodged the blame, you bet i would. It's not right and normally i would smack someone who even thinks about doing that. But Pistons fans are getting treated like little innocent babies. So if I wouldn't, why wouldn't some drunk motherf*cker in Indiana. I'm not encouraging it (Only because i'm not allowed to) but, c'mon, someone's gonna be drunk enough to do it. SOMEBODY!!! Does anyone agree with me?

    Questions?

    Comments?

I think it is possible, but I highly dought it. Since the cup throwing thing happened the NBA has doubled security at all NBA arenas. As well as the charges that the accused cup thrower will be facing I do not think anyone who has half a brain will try and do it again.

I also do not see the Pistons players being stupid enough to repeat the mistake that they saw unfold if a cup or item is thrown do not expect a player to run into the stands and beat down the fan just simply expect the fan to be escorted out of the arena. They will probably triple security during that game. Not to mention the fact that the cup thrower has a criminal record for beating up a women he spent three years in jail so you know his head is not right.

What I would worry about though is tempers flaring when these two teams meet in the playoffs or the stretch run of the year when JO and Stephon Jakcson is back. I dont know if they will let there tempers get the best of them, but I hope not because really it was neither teams fault if the cup had not been thrown tha arguement on the court would never have become a full statium brawl.

Nah. I think just an insane amount of boo's will be heard all day. I don't think Pacer fans want to bring themselves down to the level of Pistons fans.

I agree with you. The Pistons fans are really getting treated as if nothing happened. If Stern doesn't do anything about these rediculous Detroit fans why not? However, I don't think it will happen in Indiana. I think Indiana has more class then that and wont do it.

The Pacers fans won't show disrespect. If anything they will just boo them through the whole game. But they won't do anything like the Pistons fans did. Indiana will have more class and won't try to start something. They might voice their opinion by booing like I said above. But that will be the extent of it.

I agree with all of you guys. Matter of fact, I might go to that game. But I'm too classy for that. I know the my neighbors are too classy for that. The people that were sitting behind me last night at the Bobcat-Pacers game were obnoxious, but they wouldn't have thrown anything. Throwing something at the Pistons make us look just as bad as Detriot fans were that night. At the most, some high teenager will scream cuss words. We will boo a lot, but nothing will be thrown. That Friday, all we had to say was "scoreboard." The football game (Colts vs. Lions), we said "scoreboard." Hopefully, on Christmas Day, Detriot players can get as mad as they want, but we will chant "scoreboard, scoreboard..."

While the Pistons fans will simply chant

    "NBA champions, NBA champions"

Anyway, this kind of thing won't happen again because the NBA have found better ways to deal with any certain fan who wants to cause trouble. Besides, most of the Piston players are much smarter to go into the crowd and attack fans. They aren't the fighting type.

It won't happen because they will raise security and make sure fans have no interaction with the players. Someone may try but security won't allow it.

They even raised security at my schools games. I was at the girls game and one of our players called Iso so we all stood up and the refs were like "GET BACK! GET BACK! We gotta step up security after that Pistons Pacers game."

I dunno about you, but I think Rasheed WAllace has a short temper like Artest. Though he was a piece maker during the other brawl it was because there werent any fans throwing crap at him. I do though think that every player in the league now knows the consequences in the league especially after Ron Artest season suspension.

Maybe it's just me but it seems that Rasheed has been a changed man ever since he became a Piston, and maybe even before that.
I remember during the Pacers-Pistons playoff series last season he was helping up Pacers who had fell down and stuff. Yeah he shows passion but it no longer evolves into rage.

Yeah he is a changed man I think it is in part of being in a good situation, and Joe Dumars no non sense player attitude. Sheed has really changed last season when he came in to Detroit the Pistons became the favorites out of the east because of him. He no longer leads the league in flagrent fouls, and has not been suspended or fined since being a Piston I believe.

If the Detroit wins the division title this year, or even the championship, I wonder if the team will be proud of their fan's accomplishment.

The whole Indiana PD will be out @ that game. I think there will be alot of fan tensions in that game, but nothing big will happen.
