<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NBA vice president Stu Jackson has called Jazz officials and admitted the officials made a mistake in the final seconds of regulation during Miami's 107-105 overtime win last week. Instead, a foul was called and Wade forced overtime by making two free throws.</div> <div align="center">Link </div> I thought so, but it's too late to change it now.
I thought so too. The hand is a part of the ball so it was a bad call. It would've been really bad if the Jazz were down and they couldn't have forced overtime.
I think also against the Pistons, Rasheed touched the ball on it's way down before it hit the rim, Wade got called for something similar agaisnt the Cavs when LJ launched one before the half.
God I couldn't care less about their apology........ there's nothing you can do about the game now. I didn't watch the game, but can't the refs use instant reply in these situations? How did they let it go?
They say it takes a man to admit to their faults. So atleast they did apologize and admit their mistake, while it doesn't change anything, its good to hear that they were wrong. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Marbire:</div><div class="quote_post">I didn't watch the game, but can't the refs use instant reply in these situations? I also think that it can only be used to see if the basket is good or not, so a foul can't be reviewed in this case. By rule, the instant replay couldn't be used in this situation.
spark thats what i thought but he is saying why cant they use it in that situation if it could be a game decider like it was.
They should be able to use instant replay in the final minutes of a half like you guys said. I also think the Jazz should be able to appeal this because it cost them a win. That win could cost them a playoff spot in the future so they should be able to do something.
