As I watch the Magic more and more , I realize that G Hill is their most important player. He makes things ten times easiers for his teammates. I think G Hill is the MVP of the team so far.

I think its without a doubt Hill's team right now. Without him healthy this team would be just as bad as last year's team. Imagine if he could of stayed healthy while Tmac was here.

I still think this is Francis' team. Hill is more like the X factor. Francis doesn't average the most ppg but, he is mostly the catalyst and steps up during crunch time. Don't get me wrong Hill is just as good but, I think this is Francis' team. Besides he is younger.

I dont think it would be as bad as last year because we have Turkoglu, Francis, Mobley*when hes not injured*, Cato, Battie, Nelson

and as the magic's theme this year says "Total Team Effort" I dont think its anyones "team" it is the whole Magic's team with everyone contributing.

Steve Francis is the most important player because he gets points, rebounds, and assits. Grant Hill is the leader because he is a veteren and he is respected by the younger players. Together they make a great duo and play very well.

This is not a one man team if this was a one man team it would be the worst team in the league like it was last year with tmac. I really dont think that we would be at the point we are now without Hill, but I also dont think we would be at this point without Francis its a proven fact it takes a one two punch to win in the nba every team has it Kobe and Lamar, Shaq and Wade, etc. Ours is Hill and Francis.

    G. Hill does the same thing though - He's very capable of getting points, rebounds, and assists. He just holds the edge with leadership, like you already mentioned.

As far as who's team it is, I'd have to say it's a tossup between Francis and Hill. As good as Grant has been, I still consider Francis the leader on the court. He controls the tempo of the game and does everything that makes him a true leader. Grant Hill does the same thing, but I still give Francis the edge.

Off court the leader has to be Hill because he's a respected vet known in the league.

Nah, we have much more depth than we did last season. Last years team was McGrady, McGrady, and some more McGrady. If he had an off night we'd lose. Now Francis can have an off night and he can turn to Grant, Mobley, Howard, etc.

That is exactly what I said. Francis was the best on-court and Hill was off because he is a vet and gets respect from young guys.

This is John Weisbrod's team. [IMG]

Seriously though, Hill and Francis are the two guys that keep this team motivated. Both of them give their all every night and are good at getting everyone on the team involved. The team effort this year is rather refreshing after last year's team's pass to McGrady and watch mentality.

I don't care whose team it is. Francis and Hill are equally important to the success of this franchise. I sure hope it doesn't become a war of team leaders like it did in Los Angeles. We all know the result of that.

I do not think it will no offense to Shaq or Kobe, but niether Francis or Hill have the ego that Shaq and Kobe due. Hill is one the nba's "nice guys" he realises his role with his team, and is a locker room leader he would not argue over who's team it is. Being injured three seasons has made Hill humble I think he may even sign a extension with the team out of loyalty to make up for those years.
