Didn't Hedo have 18 points Pure Skillz? In your Recap it said he had 15.

    Boston 117, Magic 101

First off I would just like to congradulate the Boston celtics on a great win, and wish them luck with the rest of there season. This was a very dissappointing game for the Orlando Magic the Celtics came in to TD Water House centre with a less then impressive record, but as a team that can stay in games. While the Magic 8-4 had only one loss at home this season. Seemed sort of a david vs Goliath matchup, but in the end the Magic could not pull out a win.

A main reason for there loss was lack of defensive pressure the Celtics had there way with the Celtics in the first half of basketball just getting any shot they wanted at will. Though the Magic came out strong in the second half cutting Bostons lead to 16 in the third they just did not have enough steam to come back all the way.

On the bright side for the Magic though. They had two players with double doubles, and Hedo came off the bench to score 18 points and lead the team in scoring keeping up his good play. Now on the sad part after combining for 55 points last game Grant Hill and Steve Francis only combined for a total of 25 points this game both failing to reach there season average in points this game.

Also another thing that dissappointed me was as it seemed that Jameer Nelson was gaining confidence his minutes where cut again this game to only 10 minutes in which he scored 4 points on 2/7 shooting. Hunter showed a little bit of offense for the Magic scoring seven points off the bench. Also Stevenson had another good shooting night 5/9 from the field, but in the end just was not enough. Looks like Doc got his revenge.</div>

I don't see why you have Hedo on the bright side? Yes, he had 18 points but he only had 1-6 3Points.

And about Nelson, from the boxscores he had 21 minutes, don't trust this nba live board, especially not with the minutes.

Mostly the whole team had a bad night beyound the arc so did pretty much everyone else on the team. At least he remained consistant with his scoring out put.

All I can say is how did the Celtics shoot 68% at the beginning of the game? It should have been higher. It seemed like every single possession was a dunk or a layup. We really need to change our defensive approach. The last 2 games we nearly gave up a 100(99 both times) and 117 points. That is awful defense. Our offense is great, but we won't be able to win if we give up this many points. Johnny Davis needs to change it up and have a full practice on defense. I sure hope we figure this out or the Raptors are gonna score a lot on us tomorrow.

Coranor, why are you so against this team? Turkoglu scored a team high 18 points. I think that is a bright side.

1 out of 6 three points are not a bright side. He shot over .4 last year and this year he was quite inconsistent with his 3-Pointshoot.

I'm not against this team, I just can't stand it any more that everybody here thinks this team has already championship caliber (does this word exist in English?). Calm down and wait until the season has gone a bit further.

one bad night, 3 pointers isnt everything. You seem to look at the negative of everything rather then the positive. I think that the Magic has a championship potential. I doubt they will get it this year but i can still hope. Why dont you calm down and just go with the magic are playing great and have great potential rather then saying that they are overrated and saying that they are playing bad and that crap.

Not everything is great for the Magic though. We can't pretend that. We have the right to hope, but we're definetely not a top 10 team right now. Coranar is just stating the truth, don't jump on his butt. Our defense flat out stinks right now. (the last 3 game stretch) If more bad stuff happen then good, then we have to dwell on the bad and figure out what we need to do better the next game.
