I'm not going to toot my dad's own horn but you can tell which teams are well coached," he said. "They're always in the right spots, they execute their plays, they force teams to their weaknesses. That's a tough team to beat." Mike Dunleavy Jr. Can you believe this kid? He is saying that Monty is not a good coach. Didn't he get into an argument with Muss about this same topic? Dont make excuses about the coach when you are not playing up to your potential....
And, for some reason, Dunleavy is not being favored by both coaches, which Dunleavy just can't seem to figure out why. And, Monty was brought here essentially for Dunleavy! Nice job putting your faith on this kid, Mullin. BTW, nice job ripping fans as well... http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...SPGSKA36501.DTL
Yep. I was just about to post that. Thats right Dunleavy, blame everyone but yourself...At least he had 20pts last game. I dont know what Monty is thinking. I saw an article today that said Dunleavy scored a combined 20pts in like the last 4 games. Monty said, we need to get Dunleavy more involved in the offense. Great! Lets get Biedrens more involved in the offense too!
He scored 20 pts, so he felt like he can rip his own coach and fans. I am afraid what he will do if he scores 30 pts next time...
I like how Monty said, you score 2pts, but you give up 6. And how he benched Dunleavy and started Pietrus the 2nd half. He said, you have to reward players who play defense. Did you also notice when Pietrus picked up those 3 fouls they were down by less than 10, but by the end of the quarter the deficit was 20? Go figure; Pietrus is in there and we stay close, Dunleavy goes in, we are down by 20... Here is my starting rotation... Starters Speedy Pietrus Najera Robinson Davis Reserves Fisher Jrich Dunleavy Murphy Foyle
Dunleavy is just adding to the disappointment. Just shut your mouth and play the game. You are not good enough to be making such bold statements. Why don't you thank the fans for going out there night in and night out to watch a pathetic team play.

Dunleavy is terrible. The end. The kid isn't tough, and has no heart. Not only that but can never take any form of criticism. There is a reason the fans hate you and that is because you are playing like you do not belong in the NBA. If this kid lasts ten years in the league, I'll be stunned. PG's, SG's and SF's are roughing him up. Last night he was lit up, again. He's got the slowest foot speed I have never seen, even when he does make a play it seems like it happened out of pure luck. Benching Murphy for Robinson? You need to think that one out because Cliff Robinson has been f*ckin awful this year. AWFUL! Murphy hasn't been a handful of sunshine but at least he can score and rebound a little. Robinson cannot score or rebound at all. Biedrins is not going to play this year. He'll get in the weight room with Grabow over the summer and could have a real good year next year but until he adds 15-20 more pounds of muscle, playing time ain't comin unless we tank the year.

I like Dunleavy and I like his game but I hate it when a player calls out his coach and fans. If it was someone like TD than I would respect it, but freaking Mike Dunleavy?
that's just lame. if Mullin is building his team around Dunleavy. we can kiss our butts out of playoff comp. for as long as Dun-Dun is a warrior
He could be successful on another team for all I care, Mullin just doesn't understand that if you sign Jrich long term you are committed to him and you just can't put Dunleavy on the floor and expect both he and Jrich to help each other out on defense. Two bad defenders creates just really bad team defense. Plus free throws! My kingdom for a player that can shoot at least 80% from the foul line. Any shooter that can't hit at least 80% of their foul shots is not a shooter. That's why I don't know about Jrich's ability to play down the stretch. He's a career 68% isn't he? Dunleavy's not far behind either.
This team isn't going to be getting any body to show up now. First the performance on the court is terrible, the coach isn't doing any good, the players don't do anything, the management has consistantly shown that they can't win. And now the players are upset at the fans? We will see what they say when no one shows up I guess. They can go play home with no one there like the Hawks or something. Also Biedrins has already added 20 maybe 25 or so pounds(to his upperbody) I think since coming to the states which hasn't been a long time ago. I say just let him see what he has now after that kind of transition. Put Biedrins in the games! He's the only one how fights for low post position.
I'm all for throwing Biedrens in right now, I can't wait. I want to be excited about something this season. If the general management wanted to pick a role player 3rd overall in the 2002 draft with guys like Nene, Wilcox, Stoudamire floating around, then why didn't we trade down? We could have traded Stoudamire for a future pick plus cash or for a rookie with potential since Stoudamire wouldn't work out for us. Also if we wanted to keep Dunleavy for future use as a role player why pay him 3rd overall pick type of money then? I don't think teams were dying to grab him even with his hype. If his name isn't Shane Battier then I ain't buying. Also let's not forget the reason for drafting Dunleavy Jr. It was becuase of his dad and the hopes he would coach the Warriors one day. I don't know if St. Jean was that gullible in believing some scouting reports that said Dunleavy Jr. was the 2nd coming of Larry Bird. Anytime you compare the great ones... you know its (nothing but) hype
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">He could really be a big part of our future... coming off the bench as a role player.</div> I agree with that...
