The last time I debated with an adversary as skilled as you was when I tripped over a mentally-ill drunk in the park.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Ford also reports that Carter was battling a bad case of tendinitis even before last night's injury:

The injury highlights a growing concern among GMs that Carter isn't healthy enough to justify a trade. Several teams sent advance scouts to watch Carter play the past week, and at least two teams were concerned enough about his health that their trade interest immediately waned.

"He's got some serious tendinitis going on right now," one GM said. "Our scout came back and said that he's not going to be able to play like the old Vince Carter, so what's the point?"</div>

The most common foot tendinitis occurs in the achilles tendon.

The achilles is the large tendon connecting the two major calf muscles to the back of the heel bone. Symptoms of achilles tendinitis are pain and tenderness anywhere along the back of the tendon, limited ankle flexibility, redness or heat over the painful area, a nodule growth forming on the tendon and a cracking sound that can be heard when the ankle moves.

This condition is caused by tight or fatigued calf muscles, inadequate warm-up of muscles, overtraining, excessive hill running, speedwork and inflexible running shoes. The achilles tendon should take about six to eight weeks to heal.</div>

Duh, VC is a superb athlete. Theres no comparsion between him and EJ, but who's the one injured? VC, who's the one contending for the title? EJ.

As it's the happy holiday season, may the Dove of Peace s*** in your mouth.

2 games are still games. And this is only the beginning of the season.

Did you see the Raptors game against the Nuggets? Well the Raptors lost that game and Vince was injured not helping this team at all. 0 Points and none of his good defense. I think hes' also going to be injured when they play the Heat tomorrow. They won't have Carter to stop Wade offensivly and the Heat wil most likly win this game.

great way to defend one of your favorite players, but didn;t work.</div>
I think any injury that VC has is over rated now by people and the media. Just because the guy had a couple injuries that kept him out a while in the past now everyone thinks he does not have the right to even have a minor injury.

I mean this is one of those comain injuries to me as of this point. I mean AK is injured right now with a more serious injury than VC's that will keep him out a month that doesnt mean his trade value neccessarly goes down and they will trade him for a lesser player. Or Jason Kidd even though h had a injury he the Nets are still gona look for something of equal value for him.

    Is it a lie?

The latest I heard was Eddie Jones for Jalen Rose because Jalen is better suited at the SF spot, but I think Miami needs defense so that would be retarded.

This is just stupid, even if Carter wasn't injured we wouldn't be contending for anything, what does that have to do with the situation? So Toronto should trade Vince to Miami for EJ so that Vince can contend for a title and Toronto becomes worse? I don't understand what you're trying to say here, Mark Madsen is also contending for a title, maybe we should trade Bosh to Minnesotta?
That's just so irrelevant... call me when the Carter for EJ trade happens or when you find one GM that would do that trade

Their's not much you can do when you're not playing now is there....but how does that justify EJ being worth him? Is Damon Stoudamire worth Baron Davis because of all his injuries?

    [IMG] Good reply.

I can't believe this issue is even being debated. I know you Heat fans want to get rid of Eddie Jones but no, he is not worth Vince Carter, and I'm not that big of a fan of Carter's game anymore but to do what you guys are suggesting (EJ straight up for VC) is downright stupidity on Rob Babcock's part. Ask the 30 GM's around the league if they would do this trade and the most common response: No.

Carter is just an overrated washed up player. Shooting 39% with 16 ppg being the "franchise player" is overrated and washed up... he's not getting as many minutes, because Sam Mitchell is smart and playing whoever does good, not whover jacks up stupid 3s and dumb jumpers. Vince can't slash any more, cna't finish strong in the lane, so he has to settle for his jumpers which he isn't really great at. Toronto should've traded for Ray Allen when they had the chance.

If carter makes the all-star team, i'm honestly going to explode. Right now, EJ is worth more than VC. He's not missing games all the time due to Food Poisoning and Injuries, and is getting alright stats on a team that he's the 4th scorer. I wouldn't even want Vince for Eddie Jones. The only reason I would want that, is to get Vince, then trade hiim for someone good.

Really? That's interesting. So, according to your theory, if we traded Vince for EJ straight up, the Raptors would get the better end of the deal? Hmmmm....so the Heat wouldn't have a deadlier lineup? Vince, Wade and Shaq is 30 times more powerful then EJ Wade and Shaq, ask any GM with common sense and they'll tell you the same.
