    Kidd To Practice!

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jason Kidd is expected to return to the Nets lineup sometime between December 10-14.

"We should not expect Jason to save us," said Richard Jefferson, who averaged 22.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and shot .465 (33-of-71) on the Nets' 0-4 western trip that ran their losing streak to nine games and left them at 2-11, tying the worst 13-game start in franchise history.

"He's coming back from knee surgery and you don't want to put too much pressure on one guy," Jefferson continued. "We need to save ourselves. Jason should come in and contribute until he gets his legs underneath him.

Jefferson and his mate shouldn't plan on playing with one of the league's hottest commodities for very long, as Kidd's name has had constant placement on NBA rumor mill's since the summer.

Fred Kerber of the New York Post writes, 'If Kidd appears fine after his left-knee surgery, operators will be standing by waiting to take calls bidding for his services.'</div>

This is good news Nets fans. As you know, Jason Kidd knows how to work a team and make everyone better. The loss of Martin, Kittles, Harris, and Rogers are without a doubt very costly however, the Nets with Kidd might be able to turn this season around and turn some heads. This remains to be seen but, they are decent contenders with RJ, Kidd, and Mourning. The question is can Kidd get the Nets out of the hole they dug themselves in? It is still early and the season can easily be turned around in December. How do you Net hans feel about it?

The Nets will definetly get better because Jason Kidd is the type of PG that can make any team better. The Nets will start winning more games when he returns. Can't wait to see him back on the court.

We will be better because this year, we have not taken advantage of any opportunity to run this year. But I still think we need another scorer, especially someone who can put up points in the half court. Even with Kidd returning we still wont be as explsive in the open court as we once were because we dont have the type of finishers, we once had...So we still will play alot more half court more then ever during the Jason Kidd era. And I think that calls for the need of another decent scorer. I dont know if we will have to wait for Mercer to return and hope he provides with that other consistent double digit scoring oprion. Or if we will have to use some type of trade.

Kidd's return will help us..but I dont expect him to sweep thru with a superman cape. And save the franchise again like he did in 2001. We dont have the same amount of talent around him as we did then. And Kidd is much older now. And we dont really know how much the Knee injuries have taken away from his game, especially someone like Kidd who relies so much on speed.

This is very very good news for this team. Without Kidd they are one RJ injury away from being the worst or one of the worst teams in the NBA. Kidd will help them improve , but after a start like they ahve had I do not think he can bring them back to anything more than a 7th seed in the playoffs this season just my opinion though. It will take his body a little while to get use to the NBA again, and get back to his old speed I do not think it will happen right away. Also he will ahve to get use to the way his team plays now losing two starters from last year.

After G.Hill came back, and plays very incredibly, don't forget that he was absense for almost 5 years, but now he comes back and very healthy.I do believe Kidd can play very well, too.

Because his injury is not as serious as Hill's, and he is recovered very well now.Without the pain during the game, he can show his speed more, and be more steady.Do not always be a pessimist.Zo plays better and better, Krstic does good defense. RJ can help Kidd to score.

Kidd should show his leader ability now.

If Kidd can get 8 assists consistently with this Nets squad, he has to be one of the top 5 playmakers of all time.
