They will face their first Western team on the 13th against Sacramento. Injury List Cleveland : Aleksandar Pavlovic, Scott Williams Phoenix : Zarko Cabarkapa, Yuta Tabuse Deadlock's Keys to the game *Defense, Defense, Defense. I can't stress this enough, the Suns are one of the top teams in scoring. You can't let up or they will just take control of this game. *Contain Nash, he has been killing everyone he has been playing, getting 10+ assist per game. You have to stay close and physical with Nash. *Feed the big man, they are pretty weak down low with only Stoudemire down low, which he will probaly be playing PF. *They have a great offense but like most great offense team their defense is pretty bad so you have to exploit that. Expect big games from our 2 big men, Z and Gooden. Deadlock's Final Thought: We all remember last time we met the Suns, We had a miracle come back led by LeBron James. The Suns remember that and they will be very hungry, also they are at home so it will be very hard. Infante's Final Thought: Phoenix is still one of the hottest teams in the West. We all saw how they handed The Cavs their asses the 1st time they met. Luckily momentem shifted our direction and we came back. I am not sure if we can pull off this game fellas. The West+road game=loss, all year long. If we get a big game from Z and Mac we may be able to keep up with their offense. It all depends on the big 3's performances to determine a win or a loss. They all need a big night. Predictions 102-95 Suns Source: Real Cavs Fans
Marion is a monster, Gooden is going to have to have a rebound game in a serious way, or else he's riding the pine again. We have to remember what Q did to us last time from beyond the arc and slow him down as well as nash. I expect to see a good bit of snow in the game to try to slow nash down. J-Mac needs to play solid d and hit some threes or he too could be watching a lot of this game from the bench.
If this game is anything like last game these two played, than we'll be in for a real treat. I think it will be a pretty good game, but since they're playing at Phoenix, I'll give the advantage to the Suns... If the Cavs want to win, Gooden is going to have to have a good road game. He's averaging only 9 points a game when away from home, and 14 points a game when he's at home. Suns will take it in a close one... Cavs-88 Suns-92
Oh how we need a SG. Newble is horrid. Why not give luke some PT? We score a lot in the paint yes, but a shooting guard that shoots and makes shots would be real nice.
gooden actually outplayed Marion, he killed the glass with 19 boards. Marion wasnt soft either with 12. LBJ struggled shooting less than 33% fromt he field. i agree with mustafa, more PT needs to be given to Jackson, and even Harris, rather than Newble.
Ya I dont understand why Luke JAckson doesn't get any playing time. He's got to be at least better than Ira Newble. The Suns did do a good job on LeBron and that's something we can't have. When LeBron has a good night, we usually win, when he strugglees we usually lose simple az that.
