    RUMOUR OF THE DAY

"There's a movement in Chicago to have Bulls center Eddy Curry traded to Toronto for Carter."

I would love for this trade to go down i think maybe they should throw
in Pargo to take some cap room from the Bulls salary.

    Link?

The Raptors would put Curry at center and move Bosh down to the four, something they've been wanting to do, instead of playing Loren Woods in the paint. But I don't know if getting rid of Carter is a great idea for the Raptors...or a good decision based on how the fans may react, either.

But what does that do for the Bulls? They'd lose their best center (Davis isn't able to play 48 minutes, anyways) and Carter may take playing time away from Deng or Gordon.

What it would do is improve ticket sells, give the team a super star, and hope to possibly turn around the season into something respectable. Sure Deng and Gordon are great, but the Bulls have reallly never had that go to guy since Jordan left that super star to dependon the last minutes of a game with Carter the team would have that.

If I was GM I'd jump on that deal. we gotta make some moves 1-10 is just simply unacceptable on any level of basketball. carter will take some minutes but thats a part of being a rookie. The bulls need to win today not 3 years from now. We may have to move chandler to center. our guards are small and it would give us more size there.

    C- Chandler
    Pf- Davis
    F- Deng
    G- Carter
    Pg- Heinrich

    Thats not a bad roster.

whenever you have chandler in your roster, it will always be bad.

They could always throw Deng to play the 4 a little. Anyways, bad deal for Toronto. They lose a 20/5/4 (pts/reb/ast) guy for a 12/6 (pts/reb) guy. An allstar for a hopeless guy. the salaries wont match either. If Hinrich, Deng or Gordon is not thrown into this trade, i would never do it. Also, the bulls better give the raps a draft pick.

i dont know what you mean...bosh already plays the 4

this trade is horrible for the raptors and doesnt even work out cap wise so i dont see it happening. babs isnt that stupid

if the trade included deng it might even make sense...but still wouldnt work out cap wise im sure

No. I don't want Carter for one. And two, I don't want to lose either Gordon or Deng. They're each potential superstars. Carter will be a problem if he were to come. He'd begin to complain about the losing just like he has in Toronto. I don't want him. He may be a great player, but I don't think he'd work for the Bulls.

Don't really want Carter. He's too soft and he'd probably be a cancer to this team. I'm lookin 2 get Ray allen in the offseason

the closest thing the bulls get to big-name players is if they buy the life-size cut out of the players and put them up in the UC.

i really hope this VC for EC won't go down, because i want curry on the bulls, just not chandler...plus, i'm sick of all these deals with the raptors...now carter for curry? mason, jr. for pargo? pargo already played for the raptors and roger already "played" with the bulls.

No it was Baxter for Roger Mason, then we signed Pargo and waived him, but I was just joking since it really doesn't fill any needs for either team.
