Rob Babcock, the Raptors GM, already said he wont deal VC to Chicago mainly because Chicago doesn't want his huge contract and that Chicago also wants to obtain Jalen Rose
chicago wants JALEN? JALEN ROSE? after all the s..t he said bout them? i would glady give him up... just give us some prospects
Woops, I got the quote wrong. It's that Toronto wants to put in Jalen along with Vince in a trade. Obviously the two have huge contracts that Chicago does not want any part of so any possible deal between the two teams is now off. my bad
Here's a wake up call to the kids of the board; the possibility of there being a trade like this is around 1/100. I doubt that Paxson drafted Luol Deng and Ben Gordon to keep their minutes down in their rookie seasons especially after they have flourished so far. As they grow older they will become better and smarter on the floor. The only problem that the Bulls have right now is Eddy Curry because he does not pay any attention to offensive ball movement. He carries the ball too often and does not pay any attention to his foot movement, which is why he travels so often. However, I do think that Curry would fit better off with Toronto, although he will just continue to drop passes as he has been every game so far. These turnovers are one too often and need to be looked at thoroughly. Toronto does not have any players that the Chicago Bulls would be interested in aside from Chris Bosh and let's put it this way, Chris Bosh isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Before those of who would like to throw a fit about what I had just said about Toronto's players, please understand that interest has nothing to do with how good a player is, Toronto has a lot of talent, just not what the Bulls are looking for in a player or potential superstar. I have to laugh at the person who said that the Bulls would have to put Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon in a deal to get Vince Carter because those two have more value alone as they are young, do you have any idea of how trades are looked at professionally? Remember that youth, minutes, and numbers equal value, not what a player has done the last few years. Just to let everyone know, I've been to every home game so far, the attendance at the Bulls' games are actually quite good from what I see for a team of their status, rumors get you no where people.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Cash-Money:</div><div class="quote_post">That trade will help the Bulls but wont never happen.</div> That trade would NEVER help the Bulls. It'd give them financial complications because of how big those contracts are for one. Secondly, they'd be trading off young talent. In return they get two highly overrated players who have proven time and again they can't lead a team anywhere. I'm sorry, but in no way would this trade benefit the Bulls.
Carter is no good and not a superstar. And to whomever said that he will sell tickets. Uhm, the Bulls have no problem selling out every game, even if they do suck. Always a big crowd on hand. Since the dynasty breakup.

I'm going to post the same thing I posted in the "rumor mill" If any trade would happen it might look something like this: Vince Carter & Jalen Rose and possible someone else to the Blazers. Bulls send Eddy Curry, and/or Eric Piatkowski, and/or Othella Harrington, and/or possibly Ben Gordon or a future draft pick to the Raptors. Blazers send Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Derek Anderson, and whom ever else they fancy to the Bulls. maybe even Theo Ratliff Bulls would look like: C Tyson Chandler PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (where he is most comfortable playing which is at the PF position) SF Loul Deng or Andres Nocioni SG Derek Anderson or Ben Gordon PG Kirk Hinrich Blazers would look like this: C Theo Ratliff PF Zach Randolph SF Vince Carter SG Jalen Rose PG Damon Stoudamire Raptors would look like: C Eddy Curry PF Chris Bosh SF Morris Peterson or Donyell Marshall or Lamond Murray... whatever! SG Milt Palacio/Morris Peterson PG Rafer Alston this isn't an exact science and i am not 100% about anything. This is what I have heard... so who knows really. I know for sure though, Vince Carter wants out, Rapotrs dont want Jalen. Chris Bosh wants to be the Power Forward and they need a good or decent big man = Eddy Curry. Rapotors believe Rafer Alston and Bosh are their future, not Carter and Rose. Shareef wants to play PF again. Bulls well... yep.
