Allegedly, Miami is interested in Tebucky Jones & Darren Howard. One rumor is; Howard & the #18 pick for the #2 pick. This IMO is not adequate compensation for Miami sliding down that far. Add Boo Willams (TE), and a 2nd rounder this yr as well a 2nd & 5th next yr then maybe. However, Miami really doesn't need another DE. Trading for Tebucky makes a little more sense. Say Jones and a 2nd this yr for Surtain. TJ would be better suited @ SS. Still, This is just more idle speculation. I had heard it was Dat Nguyen (Dallas MLB) & the pick that was Buffalo's for Darren Howard .

I think it might be a bit foolish to think they can win next year in that division....but if they keep Surtain, with the additions they have, add Burress who now says he wants to play for the Miami, and then add Ronniw Brown in the draft, and assuming the young offensive players improve....i guess they could compete....it wont be easy though, that division is really tough from top to bottom....

Look at top contenders and there are a lot of signs the dolphins can compete. Excluding NE, every team in the division has a huge question mark going into season. That question mark is the QB position. Dolphins -Feeley, how will he play. Jets - Pennington(Is he healthy?) Bills - Losman(Is he any good?). Plus, the patriots are one injury to brady away from being the favorite to just another team. There is a good oppertunity to seize a wild card from this division
Who are the Dolphins looking at to play RB this year? Are they going to bank on drafting a "rookie of the year" type running back or what?
It's official, T. Jones will be a Dolphin next year. Just remember Dolphin fans, the last #34 we gave to y'all turned out to be a winner. Enjoy T-buck and i hope he plays better at SS then he did at FS because if you think he knows how to play a deep ball, ha keep dreamin.
