Well, now that it's Curry and Chandler, it might not be such a bad trade, but both are incredibly inconsistent, and Chandler has injury problems. Babcock might pull the trigger if the Raps are still getting killed on the boards like they did the past 2 games.
Curry and Chandler is tempting but do we really need another skinny PF? Even though Chandler's capable of playing C, he's a little too undersized. Loren Woods is already getting pushed around and he weighs more than him. If we get Curry then we'd have him and Woods playing the 5 and there wouldn't be much room for Chandler to play the 4 with Bosh, Marshall and Bonner on the team. If we're trading Carter we should get another decent guard/forward in return. We already have too many lanky big men on the team.
lol chicago would be stripped then... and we dont really need chadnler cause we have bosh already, i owuld rather get a guard (ben gordan or hinrich) or deng
civic your three way trade involving memphis, chicago and toronto is brilliant. it would solve the raptor problems easily, a backup defensive orientated point guard that can score and get us the big body in wright we haven't had since AD. i'm a big fan of watson, i think he's better than j.will.
If Toronto trades Chandler and Curry for Caerter and a throwin a will be shocked. That doesnt benefit them at all. Toronto needs a center and all but, man you dont trade your francise player for an unproven underachiever. Vince is an exciting player that will put people in their seats. Trust me on this one: Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler wont. It will be a big money loss and almost likely be detrimental to the teams record.
chandler is injury prone and curry is another malcontent who prolly wont even stay when he becomes a free agent. this trade could lead to the destruction of the raptors franchise
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DerfZ:</div><div class="quote_post">werd^ i hope we dont do this unless they add gordan or something</div> If they added Gordan I still see not a major improvement. I think Carter is and will always be better than Gordan. Hinrich is the real guy you should look for. If you gave up Alston and Carter for Hinrich and Gordan (plus throwins ofcourse) I think that it would be a better trade.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MagicFan3:</div><div class="quote_post">I would only do this if it were: Ben Gordon Tyson Chandler Eddy Curry FOR Vince Carter Loren Woods</div> from a bulls standpoint, i don't like the notion of giving up size for fadeaway jump shots. we would become chicago bulls north; that trade might give the raps the deepest f/c rotation in the league: curry, bosh, marshall, chandler, bonner.
chandler and Curry changes alot of things, but it makes it seem like Raptors almost aquired the Bulls of late.(or something like that). I would do it for a Chandler and another player. I found the three team trades interesting(thanks for the heads up mrj18, I was udner the impression RealGM only had 2 team checkers). I especially liked the Memphis trade, but IMO that is hoping alot, especially on Chicago's side.

Wells would help us fill the scoring gap left from a VC departure. Earl would be a great backup who could get alot of minutes in our style of game. Wright's a big man with some skill, could really help us on the boards. And Harrington could also add some size and grab a few for us...plus he's got the cap space coming up. maybe i'll call babcock....tell him to pull the trigger
^your grizz/bulls/raps trade works for the bulls and raps, but don't you think Memphis gets raped in that deal? They give up 2 solid guards and a big for a monster contract who doesn't even contribute much and a questionable big man.
^ ya i see what you're saying. But if you thow in Mike Miller instead of Bonzi its not so bad...since alot of people arent all that pleased with Miller's performances. Or some low contract players from chicago could be thrown in, and it would probably still work under the salary agreements. A pick or two could be thrown in to give it that extra push.
The type of center we need on the team is a Brendan Haywood, Etan Thomas, Nazr Mohammed, Jerome James if he ever put effort into his game type center, someone that can score, but is not scoring oriented, and will rebound, block some shots, and play some defense or at least hack people.
all those players are to inconsistent and the teams would want to much for them in exchange. But i cant really think of many better choices right now. Ratliff might be nice, at least on the defensive end. i'm fresh out of ideas
hoopshype said that the bulls arent gunna do it cause they dont want his salary and not only that but they are tring to give rose back too and his big salary
Send your trade ideas Yo i read today that vince wouldn't be traded to Chicago But what are your trade ideas...not only for vince but for other raptors here's mine: Trade VC to the Hornets for Baron(make my dream come true plz rob) Trade mopete rose and marshall to portland for Reef and Derek anderson PG-Baron Davis SG-Derek Anderson SF-Shareef Abdur-Rahim PF-Chris Bosh C-Loren Woods
