Ok Laker Fans, It seems to me that you guys have been really hard on your team as of late.I Think the Lakers have a good team this year.maybe it's not like last year's team but i still think this Laker team is really good. Ok your record isn't that bad.you guys have been strugglin a bit on beating top Pacific Conference teams, but i do see a lot of good qualities on the team, such as getting great offensive scoring drives, over the top performances from Kobe, and there are a lot of young guys on this team this year,so the team is still trying to gel together as a team.it takes time. Look it's still early in the season,so don't write off the Lakers just yet.i suspect that things are going to start to turn around before long, and it'll be the Lakers and Kings on top of the Pacific conference once again. Take it from a Kings fan, this is a good team.things will improve. Anyways just wanted to get that off my chest,so good luck with your team this year. (I Can't believe i just said that LOL)
Hey, thanks for the compliments. Right now, the Lakers are 7th in the West (I believe). This means one thing: playoffs. Kobe Bryant has yet to promise everyone a ring, a playoff spot, success...anything. However, analysts could be regretting the fact that they counted the Lakers out of the playoffs this season. I'm satisfied, overall. Kobe's shooting percentage is around 40 or 41%...but he's getting used to it, and will go nuts in the second half of the season, like he usually does. If you're a Laker fan, you have no worries. The deals we made were great...trading off guys and getting back younger talent that will bring a great attitude and provide good relationships with management and Kobe...and I don't regret any of those trades. In fact, I wouldn't have done anything different. Great job, Buss and Kupchak. You eliminated the poison...and even though the Lakers may not win 60 games this season, I'm looking forward to the next 10 years of success.

Without Shaq and Phil, Kobe didn't have anything. Now, hopefully this never comes up again. Each player and Phil had a part in the championships. Kobe no more than Shaq, and Shaq no more than Kobe. There's not a single person that can prove it wrong. So, back to topic.
Where did I ever mention Kobe? I could care less what he has to do with this. What I want to know is what did you mean by poison? You must mean team cancer, which I don't think he was...

The poison was the big man in the center, pointing fingers and putting the blame on everyone else, wanting a huge contract extension and turning down everything else...and who couldn't (for some reason, I don't know) lose weight and get into shape for the last three years he was wearing purple and gold. If people are going to come in here and argue about some guy who isn't even a part of this team anymore, I'll close the thread. The point is he's gone, and the decision was made, and it can't be changed. Some are happy, some are upset...but there's no reason to argue because, apparently, the organization thought it was a great idea to get rid of him. He's gone, the Lakers aren't crying over it, and it's time to move on and cheer for the franchise player, as well as everyone else in a Laker jersey, unless you're not a Laker fan. If you aren't, then what does it matter to you? If the thread begins to turn into a Kobe/Shaq debate, or if it continues to focus mainly on Shaq, it's going to be closed.
have the lakers fallen so miserably that a kings fan is giving us sympathy??! heheh nah im just joking but yeah i see your point, im not worried at all w/ this laker team.
Actually im worried right now. We lost against the Bulls. How is this possible? I cant believe this. These are easy to win games and we loose them. That isnt a team that wants to go to the playoffs.
Ok ladies and gentlemen,i know you are finding this strange that a Kings fan is telling you to not give up on your team, but despite the loss to the Bulls last night.this team can still make waves! Take this loss and look at it like a learning experiment.since you have lost to the worst team of the NBA,now look and see what went wrong, and once you do this..take this loss as a tool to come back strong and dominate and show the world that you are a force to be reckoned with.that's what i'd do. Did i panic when the Kings lost all of their pre season games and their 1st 4 games of the season..nope...the Kings turned that around and are in 2nd now.the Lakers could look at this as something to get the fires burning and dominate. Simple outside advice from the "Enemy"
MR_SAC_KING i really like you, you are probebly the only king fan i like, and i thank you fro trying to give us hope, guys we are lakers, the time we shine the most is in the fourth quarter, when we really need to, and time is coming, patience is the answer to everything, besides we have the best all around player in the leuge

The reason that i'm saying this is because i'd like to see the Kings and Lakers go at it in the playoffs once again, and the bottom line is the Kings and the Lakers in my opinion are the 2 best teams in the Pacfic Conf(sorry Phoenix),these losses are too early too tell so far this season.it's still early.no need to hit panic yet.if this was the all-star break than i'd panic, but were still a bit's away before that,so don't worry things will improve soon.
Well, actually...I'm still trying to be patient...just waiting for the team to form more chemistry and start playing defense. I'm disappointed in Odom right now. I don't understand what his problem is, actually...he's not amped, excited or anything. Grant is hurt, and Butler isn't doing much. Atkins isn't doing so bad (compared to what I expected out of him: nothing), but the man has to start playing like a point guard. He's not throwing any assists. Kobe shouldn't be leading the team in assists...that's Atkins' job. But, it's just 16 games into the season so far. I can name a few teams that have lost around 5 or 6 games that are supposed to be favorites...so I'm not worried just yet.
