...may be the best all-around PG right now in the east?

Right now the Franchise is one of only 4 or 5 players averaging
    20-6-6

    20 points
    6 assists
    6 rebounds

The others include Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James.

The Franchise has averaged 15-5-5 since he has entered the league. This is his 6th year. I think that is impressive. He has started in the all-star game all 5 years.

I am not saying he is the best player but best ALL-AROUND PG in the east.

Devilz yah that would be nice. Kidd is better then Francis as a "true pg" but i think Francis is a more all-around player. I forgot to mention the downside with TOs with francis lol.

I think a player who is being forgotten here is Stephon Marbury just saying it before a Knicks fan points it out. He is a better "pure-point guard" he is one of only two players along with Oscar Robertson to average 20 and 8 for his career. I think in terms of points in the east it ranks Jason Kidd (until he gets traded), and then probably Marbury/francis. Though I think that Francis is a better overall player, and Francis' team has won more head to head matchups vs Marbury's teams.

The thing about Jason Kidd is that he is getting too old. Back in his prime he was the leading PG no doubt and probably one of the only true point guards that still plays. He was a pass first shoot later guy which is what point guards were supossed to be.

I did forget about Marbury but i do believe Francis is better overall.

Steve Francis is up there in the best category's in the East but I don't think he's the best, not yet anyway. He's been doing great here in Orlando and I look to him to improve but right now he's not the best in the East. he's probably second or third behind jason kidd and stephon marbury. He does have the chance however to become the best in the East in due time.

well im talking about this year. jason kidd hasnt played a game this year (i think) so he doesnt really count and i think he is better overall than marbury.
