Inculuding the 33 point loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. We were playing good in the first quarter against the Spurs, then in the second it all fell apart. Maybe because Obrien started are 2nd team in the second, and thats when San Antonio made there run. Four us to win this game against the Grizzlies, the Sixers are going to have to forget this last game against the Spurs. Allen Iverson needs to play agressive instead of shying away sometimes and passing to much, what I mean if his shot is droping, then he needs to keep shooting. The Sixers are going to need players from the supporting cast to step up their games, it seems like AI, Korver, and Marc Jackson have been scoring consistantly. Defense is key for us to, if we let J.Will get in the open court the Grizzlies could have a monster game on us as the Spurs did, we need to rebound the ball and keep Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift off the offensive boards, because they are agressive rebounders. Memphis Grizzlies Keys to the Game This game will be heavly talked about because of Mike Fratello's coaching debut with the Grizzlies.Even though Memphis's record isnt as good as Philly's they are just as good on paper, and just as good because they are in the Western Confrence playing aginst tougher competition. The key for the Grizzlies, is to give the ball to Gasol as much as they can.I beleive he could have a feild day playing against the Sixers bigmen, he should be able to score over players like Josh Davis, Marc Jackson, and Brian Skinner. The Grizzlies are at home facing a sturggling Sixers team, if they execute they should be able to handle Philadelphia. Key Players The Grizzlies are going to need Jason Williams to run their offense, without Williams, a PG like Earl Watson just isnt going to cut it with the Grizzlies. Of course we know Allen is the key to our games, when he plays good it just gives oppurtunities for more players to shine once their are mulitple defenders on him.I also expect Allen to come out and step up, and show that a loss like the Spurs loss will never happen that bad again. My Prediction:Sixers take this 91-81
Should be an exciting game, Grizzlies Mike Fratello is coaching his first game, with a Grizzlies team that hasn't got on track this year yet. We have to contain Gasol, who is averaging 18 points per game this year. Also Memphis has a very deep bench, consist of James Posey and others. I find it interesting that the star player on Memphis (Pau Gasol) only plays for 30 minutes a game. Sixers - 93 Grizzlies - 90
I think the Grizzlies have a better chance of winning this one, the Sixers are just struggling so much right now. Noone is consistent other than Jax,AI and Korver. I think the Grizzlies offense will be took much for us. Our defense is looking like junking trash. I don't even want to watch their games anymore. I mean it's hard to watch your favorite team play defense like that but you know they have the potential to be a very good team with the young talents. Grizzlies take this one by more than five
The Sixers are really dissapointing me right now...including Iverson. 4-14 is not acceptable in my opinion. And the other night he did even worse. Is he hurt or just flat out sucking. Hes went down in every stat possible and is really needing a boost. Heres what I have to say...Step it up Iverson or your team is gonna be trash for the rest of your career. Disappointing :shakehead

Well there back in it right now. The Griz are still up by a little though. I am dissappointed in the Sixers either way though they are facing a team who just got a new coach probably do not have all the plays down yet and are losing.
The Sixers just arent playing together as a team. None of are players are staying consistant, were not playing defense, and we arent rebounding well. To top it of, Allen is very frustrated wth his play, he is currently on a terrible shooting slump. What do you guys think the problem is, whatever it the problem actually is, it needs to be Answered quick.

He has tried at least two different starters at every position this year. Does not play SD who was suppost to be the leading canidate for MIP this year, does not play KT who went from averaging a double double last year to garbage time this year, and does not play other players like Skinner our "biggest signing" this off season. So basically we waisted cap room on him for nothing.
