Yea with NOH though it's also that he never did anything with the team and also never came to the bench or to watch when he was in New Orleans, kinda zoned them out
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Yea with NOH though it's also that he never did anything with the team and also never came to the bench or to watch when he was in New Orleans, kinda zoned them out</div> miami or hangin with darryl armstrong?
Haha, I mean when he was in the city he didn't even come to the arena or anything, but I don't know, DA is a pretty cool guy lol It'd be nice if we could negotiate a buy out...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post"> It'd be nice if we could negotiate a buy out...</div> the raps are one of the most frugal teams in the league, they would never negotiate a buyout. any other team would have negotiated a buyout from alvin williams contract, which i happen to think is in the top 10 for worst contracts in the league beside eddie robinson's, austin croshere, adonal foyle, derek fisher and penny hardaway.
but alvin willaims is valuable to the team, but this year i think they should buy him out because he might not ever b as good as he used to b
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MaxaMillion711:</div><div class="quote_post">What about Vince for Eddie Jones and maybe another Miami throw-in?</div> are you serious?
haha yeah. i saw it on Hoops Hype. Pretty dumb eh? Vince would be awesome in Miami! Wade, Vince and Shaq. Best trio!
4way trade that would benefit all 4 teams: tor, mem, por, chi Toronto trades: SF Lamond Murray (6.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.3 apg in 15.8 minutes) PF Jerome Moiso (1.8 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.0 apg in 8.6 minutes) PG Milt Palacio (6.1 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 3.0 apg in 18.2 minutes) Roger Mason (No games yet played in 2004/05) SF Vince Carter (16.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.3 apg in 31.2 minutes) SG Jalen Rose (15.5 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.4 apg in 31.1 minutes) Toronto receives: SF James Posey (5.9 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.6 apg in 21.6 minutes) SG Bonzi Wells (12.6 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.1 apg in 27.8 minutes) SG Eric Piatkowski (5.8 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 15.3 minutes) PG Frank Williams (0.7 ppg, 0.7 rpg, 1.0 apg in 7.7 minutes) C Eddy Curry (13.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 0.8 apg in 28.0 minutes) PG Damon Stoudamire (11.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 6.2 apg in 33.3 minutes) Change in team outlook: +3.9 ppg, +4.1 rpg, and +1.8 apg. Chicago trades: SG Eric Piatkowski (5.8 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 15.3 minutes) PG Frank Williams (0.7 ppg, 0.7 rpg, 1.0 apg in 7.7 minutes) C Eddy Curry (13.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 0.8 apg in 28.0 minutes) PF Antonio Davis (5.1 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.8 apg in 22.8 minutes) Chicago receives: C Lorenzen Wright (6.9 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 25.7 minutes) PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (15.3 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 33.8 minutes) Qyntel Woods (No games yet played in 2004/05) Change in team outlook: -2.7 ppg, +1.4 rpg, and -1.1 apg. Portland trades: SF Travis Outlaw (2.5 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 0.0 apg in 5.3 minutes) PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (15.3 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 33.8 minutes) PG Damon Stoudamire (11.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 6.2 apg in 33.3 minutes) Qyntel Woods (No games yet played in 2004/05) Portland receives: SF Lamond Murray (6.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.3 apg in 15.8 minutes) SG Jalen Rose (15.5 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.4 apg in 31.1 minutes) PF Antonio Davis (5.1 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.8 apg in 22.8 minutes) Change in team outlook: -2.3 ppg, -1.5 rpg, and -2.8 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED PG: altson/stoudamire/f.williams SG: wells/posey/piatkowski SF: mopete/posey/marshall PF: bosh/marshall/bonner C: woods/curry we won't be getting back a superstar but we get guys who could compete for the win nite in and nite out. we could also fill in the whole in the C-spot, solid PG duties, either one goes down we could have the other step without losing too much. we have mopete to start at sf or sg, and have bonzi who is WILLING to attack the basket. dump roses and carter's contract, along with the athletic but effortless moiso. and if damon doesn't fit well, we can trade him to some other team in need of cap space or keep for cap space for ourselves.
crazy trade.. raptors are the big winners though, this team would probably be the pistons in a year or two when bosh and curry develops, and when we get smart trades, and smart signings
por: PG: van exel/telfair/rose SG: DA/miles/rose SF: rose/miles/patterson PF: Zach/AD C: ratilff/Stepania/AD solid in the front. zach, rose, van exel r all scoring threats. off the bench there r solid defenders, AD, patterson. MEM: PG: jwill/e.watson SG: m.miller/battier SF: carter/battier PF: swift/humphrey C: Gasol/Tsakalidis carter, gasol, as the 1-2 punch, jwill who know how to lop the ball so carter can regain his dunking status. again solid defenders' off the bench from battier and e.watson, outside shot from miller, inside outside, penetrate, its all here. Chi: PG: Hinrich/Pargo SG:Gordon/Griffin SF: Deng/Nocioni PF: SAR/Chandler/harrington C: L.Wright/Chandler i could say chi got the worst of it, but this is a pretty good rebuilding mode since they will lose SAR's contract by the end of the season, with rising stars in hinrich, gordon, deng. they need all the playing time they can squeeze from the floor. and by all means all they need is a better sub SG who can play a bit in the pg. let a e.strickland type player.
now that kareem is in charlotee i always wanted to do a trade like this! Toronto Trades Vince Carter Jerome Moiso Loren Woods and cash Charlotte Trades Primoz Brezec Kareem Rush and some other player to be named later. I honestly do not know that much about the salaries and all. i dont know where u find all this info or if it is memorized by u guys. i would really like this trade, VC has to leave TO and it is quite evident. everyone knows. why not let charlotte become a 1-2 punch with carter and okafor?? just wondering. but who cares if vc is waiting pm a championship contender. He has no say in what the organization does. like he said this is a business and has to accept it like that.
wow...thats like vince for a 2nd round pick coz thats what bobcats paid for rush ....forget about salary, and y do we need to pay extra cash? they could be the one paying huge $$$$ here. >
cap space but none of the big name players wants to play in the northern boarder.... ie: francis never wanted to be in Van, kenny anderson(back then) didn't wanted to be in TO. and mcgrady didn't even give TO a look when he signed with Orl.....
eddy curry isnt a a good fit for the raptors since he's in a contract year and he's going to demand a max salary. the raps wont pay him that and he prolly wouldnt sign with them anyways.
I said this before, but even if the Raps get rid of Rose and Carter's contracts, they aren't getting major cap room. We're already $26 million above cap limit and what's $26 million minus $24 million or so that Carter & Rose's contracts occupy? We only get $2 million in cap room. I think that's why Babcock is trying to get the best out of this deal.
