^^in that trade we lose marshall but we get PJ...we've got bonner who can fill marshalls roll as offense and rebounding off the bench...and PJ will give us low post toughness, rebounding and consistant post defense and double doubles. a trade with NO will most certainly HAVE to include mashburns contract, since they are desperate to get it off the books...and it needs to be included for a deal to work salary wise anyways
Yea and if we give them Roes they'll have to give us something bad back too, but that's a lot of players lol, the Hornets will be like last year's Raptors, except D.Wes will be the PG.
^^if that trade DID go down, i think NO would ship jalen off for some draft pics probably and marshall's contract comes off the books at the end of the season. for NO, its a "start over" trade
Jalen can't be traded for draft picks because the team that gets him still has to deal with him and his contract, that's the whole thing with Jalen, it only works when the players contract is expiring, but no team will take 3 years and whatever million he makes and lose draft picks.
anybody else get the feeling the babcock isn't going to make a deal anytime soon? he just seems like a passive dude, i kinda think the game has passed him by. vince and jalen's stock is plummeting nightly, and with every news story about them being locker room lawyers, the fall is becoming more apparent. and i really don't see anybody assuming j.rose's contract unless u make it a larger deal with marshall.
I've had the feeling that he just won't make a trade, but I highly doubt it, especially with almost everybody saying that a trade is going down.

i predict that the trade will go down at the 1st or 2nd home game after the road trip, and it would be a multi-team trade. won't be 1 on 1. 3 or 4 teams will be in the mix.

December 15th is the day that players who signed free agent contracts this year can be moved. Thus freeing up jamal crawford. Maybe babcock is waiting for that becuase the knicks have shown alot of interest in carter. I dont reallly like crawfords game cause he takes so many shots but i could see mitchell maybe getting the best out of him.
