The high and in all honesty un-attainable expectations are helping him dig a hole. And as much as he's got going 'against' him, he did dig this hole all by himself- gotta remember that. Are you two sure aobut that? I'm not saying 'Melo is a bad guy, but come on. What kind of smart decision is that? He know's he will be under the public eye and scrutinized for every move he makes. Stupid move by Melo IMO, and that's all there is to it.
