Good game by the Nuggets tho.
Earl Boykin owned Damon Jones and Keyon Dooling tonight. Size didn't matter tonight. He absolutely owned them 2. The only Heat player to do good tonight was Wade [IMG]

No not really. We had some pretty good contributions from the whole team. We shot great too but what can you say, the TOs killed us.

Also, Denver's 13-1 FT advantage in the 1st qtr set the mood for the entire game. I'm sure you remember when Wade got fouled offensively 3 times and they didn't call it against Denver in the first qtr. Not to mention how many times Shaq got fouled and nothing was called then all the Nuggets flopped and he got called for those fouls.

In the end there's a moral victory. Despite that:
    - This is the best game that Melo and Denver has played in the season.
    - We did a crappy job of taking care of the ball and we passed poorly.
    - The refs had handed the game to the Nuggets.
    - Shaq EJ and Wade played 33min because of foul trouble.
The Heat managed to stay close and almost grab the W.

    Here's some interesting stats:
    - The Heat had 9 blocks in this game, Denver had 4.
    - Miami had 31 PF, Denver had 19
    - Nuggets and the Heat both had 29 dimes
    - Heat had 9 Steals, Denver had 17
    - When you play the Heat, you are a 3pt shooting team. Miami has one of the worst opp. 3PT % in the NBA and for some reason all teams seem to hit 3s when they play Miami.
    - Miami only averages 11 TOs a game, they had 26 against Denver.

I didn't get a chance to watch this game but if the Heat lost they have a lot of work to do. The main thing is getting EJ to contribute solid numbers every game. They also need to learn how to play with a true dominate center.

Wow, someone didn't do their defensive assignments. 12-19 shooting for Melo. [IMG]

Actually this was Melos best game. In other game he was just throwing up bricks but this game he was shooting lights out. His points inside the paint where inexecusable though. I think he made like 3-4 FGs in the paint. But Bobcats and AAI3 are right a lot of the stuff that went on in the game is totally inexecusable. We shot brilliantly but just TOed it too much. The Heat got a long way to go.
