there is no trade with chicago and they already declined portlands!!! idk they said he didnt play for food poising
i think i like sam mitchell, but i gotta say it was a stupid starting line up. He's talking about players that play the best will get the minutes. But he started Aroujo and Moiso??? sure they didnt play alot, but the starting spot is an honour. Bonner deserved it, and Marshall too. I really dont know what esle to say....except that was the worst starting lineup in raptors history

The only person from the Zoo Crew that started was Milt Palacio. This allowed Rafael and Moiso to start, to show Sam what they can do. They ended up doing nothing, resulting in them being benched and the Zoo Crew and remaining players of the the starting lineup playing the rest of the minutes.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">I agree Bosh isn't a guy we can build around at this moment, I think I already said it before, he's not ready for a role like that because you have to realize he's also been struggling as the 3rd/4th option, so if he's #1 and s facing double teams etc it doesn't get better. </div> he's not ready to be the no1 option right now i agree...in 3 or 4 years however...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">His ball handling skills are a major issue. Whenever you make contact with him, he seems to turn the ball over. His back to the basket game? Well he doesn't have one. He's very explosive, and has good range, however, I don't think that's gonna be good enough to make him a franchise player. When he does develop a back to the basket game, I don't think it'll be anything spectacular, because he's left handed, and his turn around shot when he has his back against the basket is awful. Plus, he's not that good of a rebounder, 7.1 RPG in 35 MPG. That will increase obviously, but it'll get to around 10 RPG at best. He might get better, but I don't think he'll be a franchise guy. 2nd option seems like a good role for him.</div> everything you've mentioned so far is stuff that you can teach a player. what gives bosh such a huge upside is the natural athleticism, court instincts and existing skills he already has. position rebounding, post moves and ball handling can and WILL come with time. 10rpg is pretty decent too...if he's avging 20 and 10 ill be pretty happy. i wouldnt be surprised if he avg'd more ppg though <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> "Everyone else" are very optimistic, huge bosh believers, or fans who want VC out of town and think Bosh can take over. He could be an all-star, but that doesn't make you a franchise player. Plus...I'm not the only one that thinks this way about Bosh.</div> most of the time all-star's are franchise players...of course bosh isnt eithe right now, but i think he will be given time. and i dont just want vince out either you're the only person iv ever talked to that doesnt think bosh can develop into the teams franchise player. imo there is no question that bosh is the teams future
With his rebounding though he doens't have the instincts, sometimes he seems to stand around and watch, that's something that's hard for players to get used to, but many times he either watches or trues to outjump other players without positioning himself properly.

If the Raps are going to win, with Bosh at the first option he'll get around 20 PPG tops as well. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">most of the time all-star's are franchise players...of course bosh isnt eithe right now, but i think he will be given time. and i dont just want vince out either you're the only person iv ever talked to that doesnt think bosh can develop into the teams franchise player. imo there is no question that bosh is the teams future</div> Yea he's the teams future, but does that mean anything? He can be the teams "franchise player", or "future", but that doesn't mean anything if they aren't a winning team. The only person in the media that seems to think he'll become a franchise player and superstar is Chuck Swirsky.
I don't know about him being a franchise player, their's only a few true franchise players in the league, Shaq, KG, Duncan, Lebron, and Kidd was before all the injuries. Kobe is still battling to get that name as long as he can bring his team to wins, and if Wade can continue to do his thing now even after Shaq is gone then he can battle his way into there too. Dirk is also coming up to be a guy you can call a franchise player even though he always has a sick team, but he's taking over games which is important.
"The only person in the media that seems to think he'll become a franchise player and superstar is Chuck Swirsky." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!
