Heat 104 Lakers 102 Final OT. Lakers had one final chance to win, but Kobe missed the 3. Great game.

I love when Shaq said that he knew Kobe was going to miss that shot. Nice win for the Heat on the Lakers home court. Shaq gets the last laugh...atleast for now.

Never fear, the flash is here. haha

Great game. That's the best I've seen the Lakers play as a team the whole season, especially on defense.

Huge props to Wade and the Miami defense in OT.

A really really good game tho.
Kobe was unbelievable in the first half and thought he was gonna get the W. Wade struggeld a bit shooting but came up big in overtime.

That was a good game though, Wade struggled a little because he didn't have the elevation most of the game, but seemed to have an adrenaline boost at the end.

He should've drove on the final play, but s'all good, he did well in Overtime, and Eddie Jones also did very well, and the Heat were able to win with Shaq on the bench from the end of 4th and OT.

Nice game. Now that this is over and all the hype levels down both teams can concentrate on their own team.

Merry X-mas. Happy Holidays.

Great game....

I had a lot of beef about some of the coaching decisions in the latter part of the game...why didn't Rudy put Kobe on Wade a bit earlier, and not wait until he was done torching us to make the switch....why was Mihm still in the game when Shaq came out? What was Chucky thinking when he passed up the shot to drive into the lane?? lol

I knew once Shaq came out that we had problems...The lakers were exploiting Shaq's defense all game long, and we really could've used his freethrow shooting at the end [IMG]

O well, now I can get on with my Christmas ... Merry Christmas JBB ..[IMG]

I seriously got sick. No matter what Kobe does, that makes no difference to me. The Lakers had it won, and their defense just failed them...again...and again.

Rudy T, where's Bobbitt? And Brian Grant wasn't playing bad at all, but wasn't even seeing any minutes late in the game. Jumaine Jones, no defense...makes me sick. Chucky Atkins let Damon shoot threes all game long...and Tierre wasn't anywhere on the court in the second half. Odom did okay...offensively, he was incredible. Defensively, he pretty much played terribly. Mihm couldn't handle the ball about 4 times. Kobe...I can't believe it. That shot was there...he's gotta hit it no matter how many guys are on him.

Shaq was pretty much owned in this game. Dwyane Wade broke Jumaine's ankles three times and shot over him with ease. I didn't see much of Rasual...but Laettner surprised me off the bench. Shandon Anderson...why was he even there? And with Eddie Jones, he pulled through.

Great, great great game. Well worth the hype, and more. Congrats to the Heat for pulling it off...and congrats to the Lakers for keeping it hot with the best team in the East.

Well, Kobe had the chance to win it at the buzzer but, he didn't make the 3. There was good defense on him. I think that OT hole that LA dug themselves into was very costly. If Kobe made that 3 it would have definitely made a statement. I expected him to have a big game but, he cooled off in the 4th and at the end was only 12-30.

Anyway good Christmas game. Everyone enjoy the rest of the day guys and kudos to both teams [IMG]

Ah, It was as good as advertised [IMG]

Wade was tremendous in OT. He didn't have his elevation there with him today, but when Shaq left, Flash stepped up. He should of drove on the last play instead of winding the clock down and taking the shot. Guess he thought it was gonna raddle in like it did versus Utah.

Odom with a couple of stupid fouls in OT, but he had a very good game. Not sure why the Lakers didn't give Kobe the ball down low more late in the game, in the 4th and 5th, where he could easily turn and shoot over the defender like Wade or Jones.

I thought that last shot by Kobe was going to go in, well because he's Kobe. It would of been a wonderful end to the game if it went in, ah well, it wasn't meant to be. Still one of the best, if not the best game of the year.

Banks, that was the main problem for the Lakers, really: their coaching decisions. I don't know why Kobe was on Jones...that seriously ticked me off. And Kobe had NOTHING until the final shot in OT...in fact, hardly any touches. Odom would mess up about 4 times, and then hit a three...and then mess up, and hit another three. I'm stressed. Im still wondering why kobe didnt score after shaq fouled out. Im also wondering why the heat played better without shaq. Overall lakers played good but it was disappointing loss for laker fans

yea, Odom shot the ball well, but he had several stupid fouls. Why did he fell the need to foul Laetner 90 feet away from the basket [IMG]

I've said this many times and I'l' say it again. The Lakers will never play up to their potential as a team until Kobe learns to really trust his teammtes. All game it was bothering me that he kept going 1on1 taking it to the basket. He went back to his old style of play again and wasn't involving his teammates, even when Odom was starting to get hot. The final play was the perfect example IMO, he was tripple teamed because we all knew Kobe was gonna take taht final shot. Those are the times when you need to pass it out to your teammates, such as Jumaine Jones who was wide open 5 feet away from Kobe. Great game, just was very disappointed in Kobe's play through the 2nd half and OT.
