What the...they just got beat AGAIN! Iverson 20 freakin points. What is going on? He needs to step up and stop getting in his slumps every night. Hes had 3 bad nights in a row...all of them being losses. What a shame....Marc Jackson misses a layup.

Sixers record 6-10 WHoo hoo yay! :thumbsdow [IMG]

On an honest note...Good win by the Houston Rockets...about time you came out of that 5 game losing streak by beating the 76ers...no big surprise to me though.

    Marc Jackson

    Allen Iverson

    Recap.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Tracy McGrady made a shot when it mattered. A handful of Philadelphia 76ers didn't.

The cold-shooting McGrady sank the go-ahead jumper with 25 seconds left as the Houston Rockets snapped a five-game slide with a 77-76 victory over the slumping 76ers, who missed four shots in the final seconds.

The two-time defending scoring champion, McGrady was coming off a season-high 48 points in Friday's overtime loss at Dallas. But he was throttled for most of the game and missed 16 of his first 22 shots.

Even with McGrady struggling, the Rockets rallied from a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit and took a 75-71 lead before the Sixers surged back. A free throw by Allen Iverson, a dunk by Kenny Thomas and two free throws by Marc Jackson gave Philadelphia a 76-75 lead with 37 seconds to go.

On the next possession, McGrady drilled a 19-footer to give the Rockets the lead. He then drew the defensive assignment on Iverson, a three-time scoring champion.

Well guys it isnt looking good right now. The Sixers have dropped 4 games in a row. We cant even beat this Rockets team who is struggling more then the Sixers are.

What disgusts me the most about this game is, the Sixers had this game won. We had a lead and were gaining momentum in the thrid quarter, but we fell apart in th fourth. Its pretty much plain and simple, when AI doesnt score well, the Sixers will mot likely lose. Its the lack of scorers that hurt us the most imo. This is another unexceptable loss, just keep the mindset that the season is still young, so keep faith.

AI shot horrible from the field, and the Sixers once again showed they can not play with a lead. I think a change is needed like I have said before the sooner the better. IDK if it is the players fault or the coaching is to blame for the inability to play with a lead. I think this game was in ther ehands, but Marc Jackson, Korver, and Mckie all missed, and AI does not even touch the ball in the end wtf?

Hey im sure getting used to this gameplay by both Iverson and the Sixers. Im surprised Iverson scored even 20.

I dont like saying this about AI either. This guy has been my favorite player since day 1. Now...hes just screwing the games up for the Sixers. Hes their only hope...he needs to step his game up or we'll be seeing another loss against the Hawks. Who else is going to score for this team? Not Kyle Korver. He may have 18 points one game but then have 2 points in the next. Its the little things that I can go over with this Sixer organization. Iverson needs someone to actually score over 15 points alongside him but has no one doing so. Hes played very badly these past few games (Stats are in my stat tracker) but before then...he scored 27/5/10 against the Magic but was that enough...no they lost that game too. That brings us to a 4 game losing streak and to a 6-10 record. Its honestly growing on me because like I said...I dont like seeing Iverson play bad. He hasnt had a 40 point game yet...he already should have had one. Hes sharing the ball well...but maybe oversharing sometimes...not all the time (I think we can say that in the other Grizzlies and Spurs games he played) but too much. He scores...hes the only one who will score. Heres exactly what I think should happen with this Sixer team...Iverson should be scoring at least over 28 a game if they want a win...Someone and I dont care who should be rebounding at least 9 boards a game on this team...cmon man you have 2 shooters in Iverson and Korver....and Iverson should also lead in assists with 7 + I guess. Thats not too bad of sharing the ball. If all this is done...Maybe the Sixers can pull away from this slump and come away with a few more wins....just Maybe.

I missed the entire second half :thumbsdow . From what I know, Iguodala was covering T-Mac for most of the time and that is a big test for a rookie. Andre looked like he contained him to only 20 points.

Hey at least our next game is against the HAWKS who are 2-14 and if we lose that game, I know that our team has some serious issues.

But the thing that really is starting to get me upset after I look at the boxscore is, <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">S. Dalembert DNP Coach's decision</div> What is up with that?!? I thought Dalembert would play well against Yao who isn't a physical player. I think Obie should consider shaking up this starting lineup cause it ain't working!

OMFG, I'm REALLY pissed at Jim Ob'rien, why the junk isnt he playing Samuel Dalembertf??? It's getting to a point i TOTALLY don't understand why he's not playing him. and THIS is what pisses me off the most, JOSH DAVIS getting playing time! I don't give a crap if he's playing hard in practice or what, he's NOT good enough to be in the regular rotation with the Sixers. He needs to start Samuel at the pf spot, really he does. I am so mad at the Sixers right now i don't even want to watch their games.

I'm also wondering why Dalembert isn't getting playing time. Did he say something which got him benched, or was he just not playing well? If nothing else, he's provided decent rebounding. Is it that O'Brien wants to play a more up tempo game and Dalembert slows the game down?

The last possesion in last night's game was just total bull****.

There were like 4 un-called fouls that should have been made against the Rockets.

Oh well, one win for the Rockets and they still look horrible for a team with all that talent.

the 76ers need to play as a team and ai needs his old scoring champion self to come back if they want to win any games

Allen Iverson is imo having his best season statistically since the 2001 one season. He has been in a slump the last few games, and his team has struggled, but I still think he has been playing this season at the level he was playing in in 2001. He is trying to hard to adjust to the point guard role though, and does not know when he should begin to take over the game, and when to get his teammates involved.

the last possesion was really awful.everybody was looking at a.i then he makes a beautiful pass to jackson and he misses the wide open ahot.i dont see any reason for him to miss the shot he was wide open and 2ft frm the basket.man its getting ugly for the sixers....if they loose to atl then they better make some trades fast.

I didnt see this game, I think a college game was on the channel their usually on. Ow well.

The Sixers were with the Rockets though by seeing the score of 76-75. I expected the Rockets to win by 10+ points. Good try Sixers. Good job of keeping up with the Rockets too(which are considered a west elite by some people). I really wanted to see the Rockets lose as I hate them. I bet the refs called a bs call near the end of that game.
