Bobcats waived Eddie house. We should sign him and waive Michael Bradley. Eddie is a SG and he averages 11 PPG in 20 minutes. I think he would be a good backup to Mobley. Also he can play PG when needed.
Please not, what should we do with a SG, we traded Bogans away and Stevenson is a better fit for us, and we don't need someone who takes minutes away from our rookie PG. That would be just a waste of money (as far as I know, we still have to pay the waived person or at least he counts against our cap), I don't think we can do it so, we don't have cap space. Also, Denver is really interested in him, they have the injury exception for Lenard.
I meant if Francis/Nelson is injured he could be a backup. And in the mean time he and Stevenson can share minutes. Im not sure about the waived player but i think you have to pay them from their contract but i dont think it counts against the cap.
In case Francis/Nelson get injured, Orlando can still sign anyone for a 10 day contract, you don't have to waste money like that. Mutombo was bought out of his contract by the Nets, but it still counts against there salary cap (have a look at the salaries on hoopshype.com, I'm not so good with all that stuff but I think that's how it works normally). They are now making a lot of moves so they have next season a lot of money, and that's when Mutombo comes off the books.
He should not be looked at in my opinion. We traded Bogans away because we could not find minutes in the rotation for him the same would happen with House one of the main reasons he is averaging 11 points probbaly is because of all the minutes he got with the Bobcats. So no I do not think we should target him he is probably number one on the Nuggets list right now to replace Leonard like Coranor said.
ditto what everyone said... plus we'd just have another(maybe more) unhappy player because of a lack of minutes
