The Magic are definitely going to the playoffs, and should go fairly deep. They aren't championship calibre but they have a plethora of guys that can drop 20 on any given night.

After this game we learned just how important battie is to our team. 3/4 centers were out on this game. That is a HUGE reason we lost. I posted in another forum that all sports should be banned in Denver. They have a truly unfair home-advantage due to the altitude.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting magicdamo23:</div><div class="quote_post">The fact that denver cheat alone by having stupid air pressure difference (yes cos they are a mile high, but still, do some funky underground stadium or something !!) annoys me.

Should do a compesation ball that makes up for the difference in air pressure or something. [IMG]</div>

hmmm.... wow, I never thought of that. How about instead we have the whole league de-pressurize their coliseums to equal the pressure of mile-high atmosphere. That would be really cool. They could make compression/decompression booths for everyone to pass through in groups into the game. Your ears would pop and everything. Why hadn't they thought of that before? [IMG]

Sports are the same everywhere you go... you just have to get used to it. Maybe it did come into play here, but not enough to do multi-million dollar changes to stadiums/coliseums.

I'd rather lose a few embarrassing games at this point of the season, than in the playoffs. You can grow from a loss like this.... otherwise, if it were the play-offs you'd have to go home and study footage for the summer.

HEHE its just me whining to be honest but heres some fun points to discuss [IMG]

    1) The ammount of in and out shots orlando had was quite large - maybe on a normal court might have gone in

    2) The fact that if denver go with my idea of a under ground court they would be uber cool (yes I am 21, but still a kid at heart). Imagine it, be like so sci-fi movie taking these stupidly large elevators down a mile into the mountain. Definatly be asking for a James Bond movie to be made there!

But, all teams are aware of the pressure diff and shooting around before the game and hte fact they are aware of it should be enough to compensate. It will make a diff, cos the shots u take 361 days of the year (365 - 4 [IMG]) then for 4 nights a year u are asked to play in a different enviorment. Denver dont really have the reverse since they play 41 games out of that situation + most of their lifes @ normal courts b4 the NBA (and during prob)

Still nothing major, just a little point to ease my mind about the loss!

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting OrlandoMagicFan:</div><div class="quote_post">Other then in denver where most players can barely breathe</div>You guys are making too much of the altitude in Denver. It doesnt affect most athletes who come and play here. The reason is simple, it takes a day or two for the lack of air to finnally hit you. And by that time theyve already left.
