I know Tommy has a special place in his heart for redheads (don't know why), but does anyone know what's with the one in Needham that they keep talking about? Is this an inside joke of some sort?
"the Redhead from Needham" is his WIFE and he tries to get that little line in just about every broadcast when he's away on the road. It's his way of telling his wife that he's thinking of her and loves her, particularly since she's not had the greatest health in the last few years. I believe she's suffered through a bout of cancer.
I didn't know that. That's sweet of him. I hope she recovers, I would hate to see Tommy hurt and depressed.
She is also the reason the Tommy "Loves Waltah." Apparently Walter and Tommy's wife have become very close over the years, to the point that she talked him out of signing elsewhere a couple years ago.
