    I got to thinking last night that the Heat have all the components on a team to win a championship. The have the dominant big man, the Great scoring guard, the garbageman, and the pure shooter but they don't have a middleman. Someone who can shoot, slash, play defense, score in the post and have an all aroung game. Eddie Jones can do all of these but He's having trouble doing these things. If Jones is incapable of doing these things I think they should try to trade him for a player that will or find some way to get him out of his slump. We can all tel SVG is getting aggravted with them and is trying to make them into an elite team, but they all need to cooperate.

    These are just some thoughts but don't you Heat fans feel that the team is missing something?

    Definetly a small forward that can step up every night and produce on both ends of the floor. The Heat started EJ @ SF , Wade @ SG, and DJ @ PG. Worked really well , we were up 22-11.

    Yes there is something we need...

    a consistent shooter
    It is the answers to Heat fans prayers. We tried to have EJ as our consistent shooter, but it turned out he wasn't very consistent. Now say we trade EJ for some one like uhhh Bobby Simmons and we're a whole lot better.

    C-Shaq
    PF-Udonis Haslem
    SF-Rasual Butler*
    SG-Bobby Simmons
    PG- Dwyane Wade
    * is a maybe

    This team is definetly a whole lot better. Definetly top of the east IMO. Bobby Simmons or any conisistent shooter is our missing piece to the title just like Sheed was the Pistons missing piece last year.

    Actually the Heat do have consistant shooters, it's actually what they were stocking up on after the Shaq trade.

    EJ was going through a slump, when he gets out of it, he'll be a 45% FG shooter which is pretty str8.

    Rasual is a lost cause at times. Other times he does good. He just has the EJ virus now. He hasn't responded well to starting. Expect him to come off the bench.

    Damon Jones is also consistant, although he's had one or two bad games.

    When they are in a slump as Eddie Jones and rasual Butler are they are NOT consistent shooters. Consisten shooters are CONSISTENT, which Eddie and Rasual are not.

    Damon Jones is pretty consistent. but I don't know is he's the piece to the puzzle, not sure why exactly. His 7-11 3 PT greatly impressed me.
