Now with Malik Allen injured and Laettner coming off the IRL, what are your thoughts about him?

Excellent passer, very knowledgable in the game...doesn't try to do too much...consistent mid-range jumper, maybe getting older, but can still give 20-25 minutes a game....

That Accord comment is hilarious, Laettner and Doleac are slow.

Does anyone remember the Nuggets game when Laettner drove to the basket for the layup? I swear, he was near the FT line and it must've tooken him 4 seconds to drive and land the layup.

    Here's my take
    - Veteran experience in a young team, especially at PF with young UD.
    - A star in college but a journeyman in the NBA. Either way he's still good.
    - He can shoot lights out at times. He's gonna benefit from Shaq's presence.
    - Good defender. He also gets blocks. Avg .79 this season, almost one a game. Not great, but not bad neither.
    - Good fundementals and understanding of the game.
    - Good passer. A great receiver too.
    - Unselfish. Good team player.

I like the guy. I didn't expect much from him at first but he really finds ways to contribute. It's great to know we have some depth we can go to in PF. Definetly a suprise.

Yes LAetner gives us some great veteranship to the team. He is very capable of putting up big bumbers such as that 23 Point game against the Bulls a little while ago. I think he should be before Malik Allen on the roster anyway. Not a bad thing at all. LOL he is slow as hell though.

Anytime i'm watching a Heat game with Doleac and Laettner on the court at the same time, i've always got to make sure the slow-mo button on my Tivo is disabled.

It's just so funny, even their shots are incredibly slow. When Laettner took that shot from the 3-point line the other night, it seemed like it took 5 seconds for him to complete his shooting motion [IMG].

As long as we win, it's all gravy.

That is funny. Lattner is one of my favorite players to come out of my favorite college. He can contribute decently but I owuldn't have in the starting lineup. At least he lost the hippee haircut. [IMG]

LMAO I know. When normal players drive to basket, i usually miss some of the frames cuz they are fast but when lattener drove to basket, i caught every each motion lol
