^ its all the media's fault for all the drama during the kobe and shaq days. im sure that other teams have their drama stories as well but the media doesnt show it as much as the lakers. and maybe vanessa did, maybe she didnt but we'll never know. there is no more drama in this new laker team, there was drama in the past laker team but thats all history now.
For not looking like a real basketball team, they have an 11-8 record and are in the playoffs...in the West, and add to it that the only two guys who are doing ANYTHING on this team are Kobe and Odom, where Odom is only rebounding (scoring and shooting well sometimes, but is inconsistent). As far as Malone goes, am I shocked? No. Like I said, I don't care where he goes...but if what happened with Vanessa and Malone is true, then both of them would be walking (if I was Kobe).

Not a single fan or player, or anyone who works for management, knew when he would be back. He wasted our time...making us believe he was coming back, so we didn't have to worry about picking up a PF out of a trade or signing one for minimum. Maybe that's why we didn't pick up Eddie Griffin, who put up 29 points or so in tonight's game, with over 10 boards.</div> About this Realdeal, were the Lakers actually looking at getting Griffin? The Twolves org had helped him a lot, and McHale had been a fan of him since he was drafted, and the Lakers could still have gotten him because you can waive players later anyways. I don't know about this whole Vanessathing, but if that happened then it's best for them not to join forces on the Lakers, it will just cause more drama on the team, and cause problems.

If you remember right, Rudy T actually traded Richard Jefferson for Eddie Griffin...so I would think he still had interest in him anyways, but...I read a few articles about it, and also about Griffin being interested in LA. As far as waiving a guy...the Lakers didn't want to do that in the first place. We knew we would have to if Malone came back, but we didn't want to have to waive two guys, for both Griffin and Malone.
No, not them, waive one of those PG's you have, I know you don't need them all....I wish I was an owner like Mark Cuban, I'd sign every player that has any slight hint of potential, my team would have the worst chemistry
Here are the latest on KaMalone. Can Manley ever shutup I don't think I've ever seen an agent talk so much. <font color="Red"><font size="1">I removed this article. we need to waive tierre and figure out a way to appease malone..seems its all calmed down now so maybe he'll still come to the lakers
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Shaquille O'Neal may now have a Florida zip code but still the soap opera continues out West in Los Angeles. According to T.J. Simers of the Los Angeles Times, two weeks before the Bryant radio interview that got Malone so heated the duo had a major falling out involving Bryant's wife. Both Malone, speaking through agent Dwight Manley, and Bryant confirmed the rumor Saturday night according to Simers. It is alleged that on November 23, the night the Lakers played the Bucks at Staples Center, Vanessa Bryant was talking on the phone to Malone's wife, Kaye. Kaye gave Vanessa her husband's cellphone number, and Vanessa called Malone, who was sitting at courtside and invited Malone's child to join her. Malone, wearing cowboy boots and a hat, eventually took the child to Vanessa. Malone hugged Vanessa, and then Vanessa asked ? as Manley recounts this part of the story ? "Hey, cowboy, what are you hunting?" "She said it twice," Manley said, "and Karl answered the second time, 'I'm hunting for little Mexican girls.' " Vanessa then later told Kobe that Malone had come on to her, and said several inappropriate things. She also told Bryant that she had called Malone's wife and asked Kaye to get her husband away from her. This is when Kobe got mad, calling Malone and yelling while Malone was relatively silent, never denying the alligations. Bryant, the article proclaims, preferred to keep the story out of the press but the New York Post reported this week that Malone was seen giving Vanessa a big hug, and then "somehow Malone managed to cross Vanessa" and got on her "frosty side."</div> Sorry guys for not posting a link, but this is a story I found posted on another bball message bard I go to, and thought it was intresting. I hope this is not true it sounds uncharacteristic of Malone.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Real Deal:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, Jesse already posted the article on the page before this one. </div> Yeah i noticed before you replied thats why i deleted mine. I think that this is kind of sad and sick if it is true. Hopefully it is not though.
Well, if Karl Malone had any intentions on Vanessa he ought to be ashamed he could have fathered her...

What he allegedly said also is very inappropriate, no surprise coming from his mouth though.

However, you said this regarding the possibility of Malone flirting with Vanessa, and I quote: "if this is true, I really have lost all respect for Malone, I know Vanessa is amazingly beautiful, but damnit Malone, you have a wife." We all know what Kobe did (assuming all he did was cheating, not rape). So I'm just wondering, based on what you said, did you lose any respect you had for Kobe? Or is it ok just cause it's Kobe?
<font color="Red">There's no reason to post anything about the Kobe case. The past month, myself, my wife, [Malone's wife] Kaye, we've had fun together. We've been out to their house, just joking around, giving each other a hard time, just clowning, being sarcastic with one another, baby-sitting kids and all that." Asked if there could have been a misunderstanding, Bryant said, "What he said is what he said. I believe in my heart that it wasn't a misunderstanding. My wife wasn't going to stand for it. She felt uncomfortable being around him to the point that she felt she had to call his wife and tell her." </div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1944994
hey maybe karl was just joking around. im sure he was just clowning around, cuz thats the kind of guy he is. kobe and karl should patch things up not just for the sake of karl going to the lakers but for their friendship... and besides they are neighbors so why not?
I dont care if its a joke or not. I will get real offended if any of my boys starts sexually harassing my fiance..... If thats what happened, Kobe has every right to be upset..
