<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Heat is showing interest in guard Eddie House, who was released late Saturday by the Charlotte Bobcats. General Manager Randy Pfund and House's agent, Mark Bartlestein, have spoken at least once since House's release. House, a shooting guard, played his first three seasons in Miami. "We're trying to figure out what will be the best spot for Eddie,'' Bartlestein said Monday. Denver also is among a group of teams interested in House and appears to be the most serious. Bartlestein is hoping to reach an agreement by today. House makes $825,000. The 6-foot-1 House is having the best season of his five-year career. He is averaging 11.1 points and shooting .452, both would represent career highs. The Bobcats did not have room for House and 5-11 Brevin Knight. With Miami, House averaged 7.0 points per game, coming off the bench for all but 10 games. He was the Heat's second-round pick in 2000.</div> Any thoughts? Like the article says, I think Denver has the best possibility of landing House and would be the most serious about acquiring him.
I think we have a very high chance of getting him. HE only wishes for 825k and is averaging 11 PPG. Definetly a steal. The Heat should definetly make a move for him. I believe that Eddie Huse also would like to come back to Miami.

Eddie is an explosive scorer. I watched him quite a bit this season, and he is a very sneaky defender. His 1 on 1 is pretty weak at times, but he's good at knowing when the ball is coming. I believe he has like 1.8 steals or something like that.
If we get him that would be awesome. He is a good scorer and can take some pressure off Eddie Jones who isn't playing well right now.
He's averaging 11 but why was he released???? I always thought that he can play decent game while his miami days but didn't understand when they let him go.......
We could use another spark of the bech. Eddie House brought instant energy onto the court when he played in Miami.

And Brevin Knight is A LOT more important to the Bobcats than Eddie House. I would've personnally kept them both though.

Eddie's always been intriguing."</div> http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basketb...fla-sports-heat Hey Larry, did it ever cross your mind that you could free up a roster spot by releasing that waste of space named Wang Zhizhi? He has contributed absolutely nothing to the Heat, all he's good for is some fan enjoyment in the last minute of a blowout game. He's like a 4th string backup quarterback, totally unnecessary. We would benefit a lot more by having Eddie House than Wang Zhizhi.

Micheal Doleac is our back-up center, no need for 2 of them at all. I think every Heat fan here would rather have Eddie House than Wang Zhi Zhi, and the thing is Eddie will actually do something.
