"He threw lobs," Wade said of his memories of Jones' tenure in Milwaukee, "and I liked that." ''We have a good chemistry already,'' Wade said. "I guess we'll see how good he is throwing lobs,I told him [Monday] night that it was the first lob I caught since [Travis] Diener at Marquette.'' "I don't think anything is going to have to be forced. He knows where I am and I know where he is... always at the three-point line.'' ''When I start the game at the [shooting guard], I start the game with more energy because I'm running more,'' Wade said. ``When I'm at the [point guard], it's more of me controlling the game and setting up plays. But I don't have a problem with either one of them.'' "Right now," Jones said, "he's in attack mode, and that's very beneficial for us. As many easy baskets as we can get him, that benefits us in the long run."</div> <div align="center">Stan Van Gundy</div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I think what it does for us, when we do have two ballhandlers in the game, basically two point guards, is we have more flexibility in how to run our offense," Van Gundy said, as he looked ahead to tonight's game at the Bradley Center against the Bucks. "He's a guy who really looks to attack when he's ahead of the ball," Van Gundy said. "Throughout the year, when we've played him at the two is when we tend to run a little bit better then when he's playing the one." "The only thing we have to be conscious of is what kind of shots we're getting," he said. "When you're getting dunks in transition, you're not worried about outrunning Shaq, because you're not going to get better shots then that."</div>
Riley needs to sign DJ to a longterm contract or else were guaranteed to lose him like we did with Skip.
I'm very glad he's joined the team; we'll need a good shooter like him to aid Wade, Jones and Butler whenever they aren't feeling it offensively; just more needed and appreciated support. He'll definitely add value; especially entertainment wise with Wade.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting EcinPC:</div><div class="quote_post">butler was a good shooter, what happened?</div> ej-virus. it's contagious. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Accord:</div><div class="quote_post">Riley needs to sign DJ to a longterm contract or else were guaranteed to lose him like we did with Skip.</div> I think we got him for 2 season. DJ would love to find a place called home after being a journeyman for most of his career so the feeling is mutual. I would like to see him be a Heat for a long time especially if he keeps this up.
