This is the begining of the end of the Warriors being all right. The Warriors are the next Cavs (before they got James). Just look at the facts. They won two in a row. Awesome. But they beat the Hornets in 3 0T. And thier are rumors about Pietrus being traded. Unless someone steps up on the court and plays incredibly well (or a goodtrade happens), this is the end of the Warriors winning more then 25 per year.
We have to reason this out somehow. Why would Pietrus be traded again for a question mark like Curry or the contract of Jason Kidd? I love Jkidd but man Murphy and Richardson and others hog up a lot of cap as well. We'll become the NY Knicks basically in salary cap hell.
We already ae in salary hell. This year we pay all the Warriors $165.7 million dollars. But adding Kidd would be the true salary hell.

That's salary ratio, not millions of dollars. I'm not sure how they calculate those numbers, but Dale Davis does not make 33.7 mil a year. I don't think even Shaq makes that much. Dale makes around 9 or 10 this year I think. I'm sure someone here knows.

Hoopshype still doesn't know what the details of all the contracts are. I can safely assume that the Warriors are on the bottom of the priority list of teams to focus making updates on. It's like nobody outside of the bay area cares about the warriors. BTW, welcome Wild Child

Some people from the Bay Area don't even know who the Warriors are. Like I asked my die hard Laker friend when he moved near me if he occasionaly watched the Warriors. He didn't know who they were

Wearing a warriors uniform isn't a good investment because it represents a pretty sour era in Warriors history since Cohan took over as owner Chances are good that the name on the jersey will get shipped out for expiring contracts or won't be re-signed, you'll look like a dork to other basketball fans, and nobody outside the Warriors fan base knows who #23 or #10 are. You wear #17, people go, "oh the idiot who signed Foyle for 48 mil for 6 years" and start laughing. I feel embarassed for this franchise and I'm a fan.

No one wants to play for the Warriors

The Only way i foresee the Warriors being sucessful again is if your owner sells the team.To me he seems like a John York(owner of the 49ers) type of guy who doesn't want to spend money on his sports franchise. Warrior Fans deserve better than this.

I was rooting for Larry Ellison who was on the news calling out Cohan and the Yorks. I'm praying for Ellison to save either the Niners or the Warriors! He's a real fan who gives a damn and he's one of the richest men in the world. When you're that rich you have power and influence to challenge/overthrow the tyranny that stands in the way of improving bay area sports. Way to go Ellison!

Lots of money. And someone who cares about the Warriors!

Cohan could look at how the Maloof's are running the Kings organzation. The Maloofs have been very instrumental in trying to get financing a new stadium to replace Arco, and the fact that they want to commiment in staying in Sacramento show's how much they care for their team. If he Cohan could do the same,I'd gurantee you guys the same thing.
