SVG commented and said this lineup is only situational and will adjust the lineup to best match the opposition's lineup. Rasual had 31 minutes coming off the bench and is looking to earn the title of being the Heat's 6th Man when this lineup goes in effect. When this lineup isn't in effect, expect DJ to be the 6th Man.
Milwaukee Bucks Starting Lineup Head Coach - Terry Porter PG-Mo Williams SG-Michael Redd SF-Desmond Mason PF-Keith Van Horn C-Dan Gadzuric 6th Man - Mike James

Heat Keys to the Game

[*]Contain Michael Redd: Redd is the primary option and averages 15+ FGAs per game (24th in the NBA) without any consideration to inefficient scoring or winning. The Heat should use his selfishness to their advantage and force him to take bad shots. Also, since he averages so many attempts, try putting pressure on the ball and force a steal. Like Tayshaun Prince to Kobe Bryant in the Finals, exploit Redd's selfishness and use it against him.[*]Protect the perimeter: Keith Van Horn and Michael Redd can really light it up from downtown. SVG said "even if your team doesn't shoot 3s, when you play the Heat, you're a 3PT shooting team". The Heat have one of the worst opponent 3PT% in the NBA and for some reason it's true, a team that normarlly doesn't shoot 3s can camp the 3 line all day and shoot a high percentage. Just an unexplained phenomenon if you ask me. Expect the Bucks to exploit them if they do not defend the perimeter.[*]Hit the boards and box em out: Sounds simple enough but the Heat have been doing a poor job of boxing out and the Bucks do a decent job of getting second chance points. The Heat must grab every defensive rebound. The Heat should also attack the offensive rebounds for those second chance points.[*]Play with energy and intensity: This has been an area of concern for the Heat. One game they play with energy and the next they don't. It's a big part of the reason why they are .500 in their last 7 games. If they don't continue to give it everything they got in every game, you can expect this .500 trend to continue
Miami Heat Fantasy Advice

[*]Don't invest in a Heat SF: If you don't know by now, the Heat SF position doesn't even exist. The Heat lineup has changed about 3 times in the past 6 games with the Small Forwards taking the biggest hits. When a the Heat decide on who the SF will be I will post and let you know who it is.[*]Invest in Damon Jones: If you haven't done so by now, try acquiring Damon Jones from FA or try making a trade for a player that might not be giving you production. He's the 6th Man so he get's quality minutes but his Fantasy Stock has risen with SVG starting him at the Point. He doesn't play more than 5 Cats be he is very valueable. In the Jazz game, he logged 37 min and put up these stats:
[*]7-11 3PTM / 7-12 FGs (He is the #2 3PT shooter in the NBA and has the most 3PTA and 3PTM shooting @ 44%)[*]65% FG[*]0-2 FT (he doesn't shoot the FT much so he was a bit rusty, other than that he's a great FT shooter)[*]6 ASTs (expect this to improve, read the article: Wade: sign Damon Jones)[*]4 REBs (nothing to brag about but still decent)[*] 0 Turnovers (Did you know that DJ had the best AST-to-TO Ratio in the NBA last season? He could very well repeat that performance this season)[*]21 PTs (DJ mostly shoots 3s, and with the Heat needing to spread the D for Shaq, he will see a lot of 3PTAs; he will be scoring by 3pts rather than 2)

Final Score

I hope the Heat can win this one and I have faith in them. I say Heat by anywhere from 3-10 point win. If they can contain Redd we should have a great chance but the Heat still need that third consitent scorer and a good Sf.
Miami is in a shooting slump. As a team they're shooting 11-31 FG 1-7 3PT after starting off hawt. Thank god for defense.
Miami should easily win this win nice preview I took your advice on trading for Damon Jones lol. Shaq and Wade big games expected. I see the Heat are winning at the half. They beat the Bucks twice before they can easily do it again, the Heat are simply a better team.
Good game. Hey, Udonis had a great game with 20, 13 and 6...and only 3 fouls in the 40+ minutes he played. He seriously provided for Miami in this game.

When they just have say Shaq and Wade haveing good games while every one else sucks, then they won't win. Any one recall Shaqs 34 Points and 17 boards Raptors game? IT turns out the Heat lost that game. The Heat need to get every obnne involved and they did just that this game. Other teams just have to stop every one but Shaq to beat the Heat.

Like I said he also had the best AST to TO ratio last year too. He's gonna give you production on the offensive cats and knowing that the Heat take pride in their defense, and they won't let you log minutes if you can't defend, expect him to give you some production on the defensive cats. I atleast expect more on defense than he's done in his whole career.
Quoting Ace2k2:

Ya these are the games Miami wins, when every one contributes. But I prefer to look at the glass as half full rather than half empty. In that game
[*]we only lost by 2pts.[*]Wade had messed up on the last play (which was suppose to go to the wide open Shaq to tie the game).[*]EJ, after being told that long shots = long rebounds, closed in on the long rebound and lost it, which led to him fouling the raptor and giving the raptors the lead off FTs.[*]Shaq, Wade, and Haslem managed to almost beat a team that was getting production from 9 players. Besides those 3, the team shot 8-33 (which is about 15% in FGs as a team).
With that said it was pretty sad on the Raptors behalf to not have had blown us out because our team had shot so poorly. It's really amazing how we were even in that game.
