^ But he doesn't average 20 points. That's the thing. And he couldn't easily do it, nor is he worth his money. He's an underachiever, he had so much potential coming out of college, and now he's nothing but an above average player. But I will give him props for 2 or 3 seasons that he played very very well in, one or 2 with the Pacers and one in Chicago, but other than that he hasn't done much in his career.
The Lakers would not benefit from getting Rose - neither Butler nor Odom, which are names I've seen thrown around in here - should be traded. Odom has greatly improved his rebounding since leaving the Clips, and is needed on that front, along with a good general performance to support Kobe. Butler is a much-needed swingman to support Kobe's game. Both Odom and Butler are good supporting players, while Rose is not performing as well as he's expected to in Toronto - but then again, people would be disappointed if he did go to the Lakers. He would never average 20 ppg out there.

Jalen As much as I love Jalen from his Michigan days (fab five forever!!) he wanted the big money and he got it and it will keep him in Toronto till it runs out. He aint goin no where

Unless you were some sort of coach, GM, analyst or something, it doesnt give you any credibility whatsoever. You could've been a towel boy for all I know. Even if you do understand the game, it doesn't always make you right or wrong about what positions the player plays on the court. I don't watch many Raptor games, but I'd guess that he played some point last year, seeing that Alvin Williams wasn't at his best and their backup was Milt Palacio.
He played the point guard position for Toronto for about 60 games last year. And as a Torontonian who has been paying very close attention to the Raptors, I strongly suggest you change your attitude towards other posters, and also brush up your knowledge on the NBA. While you might be what you are claiming to be, just the way you type makes you seem like a 10-year old.

Lakers should sneak into playoffs but not by much-Rose is not the quick point G or the full size C lakers need. A bold move- make Kobe the point G,get Rose,with Rose,Luke Walton,Odum they'd have passers. Still need effective power guys up front,would be smart to let Cook become a main guy inside
i dissagree^ kobes most effective at sg, i would put rose at pg, when rose came to toronto he passed to carter all the time, but as he lost his respect for carter he started shooting himself, and i dont think rose will lose his respect for kobe
