I always see this and was wondering if there is anything behind it. Does he do it at away games?

I would get pretty ticked off if he did that in front of me every game.

It's his way of getting back at the media. Claps dust in their faces. There's even a commercial of him doing it.

Well, I don't really find it annoying. It's actually an interesting pre-game ritual and I love that only KG does this.

I don't know whats behind it, it's just a ritual I'm assuming. Like Carter's mesh chinups.

I think it's a unique thing. It's always fun to see which writer in the Twin Cities get their face filled with chalk. Some writers love it and some don't. I love how Sid Hartman ducks from the chalk dust.

He actually kisses the edge of the iron and then says a prayer while pointing at the roofs (assuming God).

I like KG's ritual though, but I could imagine a rookie (i.e. Robert Swift) doing that, he'd get snabbed.

But I guess when you're the MVP, no body could say squat!
