Yeah Carmelo was wrong with all of those incidents but let's move on guys... Melo also wants to move on... isn't it time for Christmas? http://www.nba.com/features/WIP_041215.html :jumping:

Before the Olympics, Carmelo Anthony was saying how he was very excited about the chance to represent his country and all of that b.s. these players feed you guys, but at the first signs of trouble he reverted to his old ways</div>Pretty messed up eh, how Amare,LEBRON, and iverson cant make it to and olympic practice. Yet "they're so glad they are there to represent their country" wow that wasnt a load of b.s. or anything
I understand the view of being honored to play for his country and getting a medal. However,USA is the GOLD standard for basketball. We owned/own the sport like no other country in any other sport. So, if i were playing in a tournament that all others before me had won so convincingly,i would be ashamed of achieving any less.I dont think it would bother me if all the players disposed of the medals. As for the low budget hip hop wannabe scarface movie, what a douche bag.

If he really threw his bronze medal to the lake, which is not the truth, I'd say Melo was a loser. But judging by this shot, he's not one, because a loser would just give up. He's the type of player who rises to the challenge, it was a mistake of his to act the way he did throughout the Olympics but all athletes have their up and down moments and they were just moments Melo would like himself, his fans, and the rest of the world to forget. It's a new beginning for Melo.
