Should the Spurs consider moving Duncan to center and benching Nesterovic? Duncan's numbers have on average gone up a bit when he plays center since Robinson retired (http://www.82games.com/04SAS11C.HTM and http://www.82games.com/03SAS15C.HTM), and perhaps its something the Spurs should look into. In particular, if Malone does decide to sign with the Spurs, it could be a good idea to start Malone at PF and Duncan at C. What do you think?

Duncan has stated that he doesn't like playing the C spot and I think Malone would play center if he signs as Western Conference doesn't have Shaq anymore and Malone can handle others besides Yao.TD likes to move on the court more but playing in the middle would take it away from him.

No, I don't think they should or would move Duncan to center. I really doubt Karl coming to SA would change that either. But that's my take.

He's putting up MVP numbers in his spot. He's said it over and over, he doesn't like center. Why even think of making him uncomfortable? And really its not, IMO, what the Spurs have struggled with in their two recent losses anyway. They just weren't executing for whatever reason. But if it ain't broke (and I don't think these losses is an indication it is) don't fix it.

No, I don't think that they should move Duncan to the Center spot, all they really need is a center to actually do something other than take up space. I didn't get to see too much of the Olympics, but I don't think that Duncan and Center should be put in the same sentence. Just my opinion though.

NO!!! , I don,t think that Duncan should be center because he already sais that he does not want to play center. Also who would you put in for him. Rose, no and Horry, no, if they were to do that the Spurs would be crazy.

I think they should move him to ccenter then they will be better because Rasho is young right now and needs to develop.

Only if Malone lands in SA. Duncan plays more like a center than a PF. He also plays center for quite a few minutes when Rasho is on the bench. I think its a great idea in letting him start as center with Malone as PF. Wow a lineup of Parker-Ginobli-Bowen-Malone-Duncan looks damn scary!!!

If Malone signs for the Spurs he will likely come off the bench, the line-up should stay the same. Duncan doesn't like playing center and whatever he says, goes. Rasho has been off the last 5-7 games but he is still a big body inside to play defense and block shots. There is no need to change the line-up when It doesn't need changing.

The line up should stay how it is. Rasho has proved to be a decent center and even above average at times. Malone couldn't handle the centers in the West, with or without Shaq.

I would hate for Malone to go to the Spurs. I like the Spurs and want to see them win another championship but I won't root for them with Malone on the team.

How can you not root for the Spurs if you like them? I don't like Malone either, but he sure as hell won't ruin my fun, unless by some freak chance he goes psycho and knocks one of the spurs out in practice or something. [IMG]
