89-71 with 7 minutes left in the fourth. Atleast they cut it down some. Could this be yet another comeback effort? Only time will tell....hmmmm.
the raptors run a high school offense, are easily the most disorganized team in the league on defense, chris bosh suddenly forgot how to play basketball, the locker room is divided and the raptors are now 7-15. why couldn't i be a spurs fan, 2 winning seasons in ten years.
Well if Vince had stepped up...oh yea, Vince might have been playing bad, but even with that he draws defensive attention when he's playing, man this was just a sad game. Alston did great at getting to the line and hitting, but 5-16, but a TS% of 53.2%, so not too bad, only the Raptors allow Carmelo to almost get a triple double HAHA. So Vince is out, Jalen plays 21 minutes and takes 4 shots, and what does Bosh do, hardly anything, 8 shots, 3-8, missed all his free throws, 3 turnovers,but a good rebounding output, and he had 2 blocks, Bosh can't handle Kenyon, it was bad last time too. Lammond Murray on of the only bright spots in the game lol, Bonner shot bad, Marshall shot bad, Araujo played, 2 turnovers doing what? Also MoPete had a good game? Did he try his statue of liberty dunk today? Or his pumpfake outside the arc and instead of driving, still pull up for the three lol
The only good that came out of this one was Pape Sow. I love it when this guy comes on the court. He's aggressive on the boards and isn't afraid to take it right at the defensive when he has the ball. He's a work in progress but I'd love to see him get more playing time. They better put Moiso on the IR when Carter comes back instead of Sow. I'm the one who created the "Is Bosh a Franchise Player" thread, but I'm just praying Bosh can prove me wrong. For another game, he struggles once again. He really needs to be more confident/aggressive and work on protecting the ball so he won't be so turnover prone. We really need to make a trade soon cuz it's a pain watching this group on the court.
anybody else getting annoyed by the shots of babcock in the stands taking notes? well mr. babcock i made sure to take copious notes this game as well, i'll divulge it to u free: THE RAPTORS SUCK!!! babcock is ticking me off, he's not responding to the obvious dysfunction of the team. i don't want him to be a reactionary but do something to salvage something.
I hate the coverage of Raptors games sometimes, they show a GM or coach or injured player while the game is going, and they make you miss a possession or 2. The worst is when they're interviewing someone and they show them for so long, you can have the audio without showing Norma and whoever she's interviewing so we can watch the game, we don't want to see them talking, no one cares.

I've actually never like in-game interviews AT ALL. 80% of the time it's usually someone who I could care less what they think and it's more often than not way longer than it should be. Then we eventually miss a few possessions which leaves me wondering what the point of that interview was. Why is nba thinking of banning 3 pointers? The The Score broadcast crew (director mainly) is brutal. Focusing on female hockey players while alley-oops are being thrown. Man, this is game was really bad. Somethign has to be done, it just has to.
Man, that was a tough game to watch. Really exposed lots of weaknesses. No aggression or passion (watching Miller take it to the hoop baseline in the 3rd q while Marshall just stood and watched made me sick). No energy (OK, they've been on the road alot and played lots of back to backs). Lack of size and strength (nothing new here). No one to command a double team (at least Vince could do this, to create open looks and better spacing on the floor). Only 1 player that can break the defense down (skip). Unfortunately, nobody can hit an open shot when he kicks it out. The coach is starting to make excuses (fatigue, injuries, heavy road schedule with lots of back to backs) which is never good. This team is becoming (if it isn't already) the laughingstocks of the NBA. There's no fire, no inspiration on this team. After a promising start, season is looking more like a write-off.

I'm so disappointed in the Raptors. I had so much faith in them but right now, i'm really close to completely giving up on them. First, Vince comes into the season really underacheiving. Then we start to lose every single close game because we can't close out. After that, Alston's shooting goes ice cold....as well as Bosh's play. A lot of disruption happens in the locker room. And finally, Vince gets injured. This season is looking worse and worse....soon there won't be any chance for us to make the playoffs and we'll all be talking about lottery draft picks.
