<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mohammed was linked earlier to reports of the Knicks' interest in Chicago center Eddy Curry. But if the Knicks continue to pursue Toronto's Vince Carter, who went on the injured list Friday for a minimum of five games, don't be surprised if Mohammed's name comes up. The Raptors are desperate for big men to improve their rebounding, and Mohammed fits the bill. "I wouldn't doubt that," said one source who has spoken with Raptors general manager Rob Babcock. After getting 20 points and 11 rebounds against Washington Friday night, Mohammed has averaged 16.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in the last four games. Those numbers, combined with the fact that Mohammed has only two years left on a reasonable contract worth $10.75 million, make him very appealing to potential trade partners. "If my agent doesn't call me and tell me it's serious, I don't really consider it," Mohammed said. "I can't worry about that. I'm the starting center for the New York Knicks, and I'm enjoying every second of it.</div> Link What can I say? Isiah never ceases to amaze me. Nazr Mohammed has been playing great consistant basketball thus far. We can all arguably say that he is a top 5 center in the east. Mohammed is giving us a double double a night and while teams are focusing on Stephon Marbury and now Allan Houston, we can give him all the space he needs to do what has to do. He is scoring and rebounding exceptionally well. Tell me 13ppg and 9.7rpg is good so far. He is obviously our best center since we had Marcus Camby. And if he is in any sort of deal we wont get a center. I don't want any part of a Toronto deal. As for Chicago <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Keep the big, sloppy, chump away.</div> Pretty much sums up. We don't need anyone else right now. Mohammed's finally decided to play great basketball and now we are going to trade him? A trade that involves Mohammed (unless we are getting someone like Shaq) will only kill our team. He already messed around with chemistry in the KVH trade hasn't he learned his lesson? Mohammed is doing everything that you can ask for. He has been made a huge improvement from last year. He's even playing better defense with a block per game. The only good trade Isiah Thomas made was trading for Marbury. We are perfectly fine in the frontcourt. Atleast let's see how things turn out once we have our entire team. Let's see how crucial Allan's floor spreading can be, and how important Hardaway's spark and leadership can be off of the bench. I hope no trade that involves Mohammed takes place. He's playing well and it's benefitting the team. Why would he even be invloved in a trade?
Isiah is so full of it. He says that he does the TT-KVH deal for Mohhamed, but sources said that Mohhamed was available in other ways. We could've acquired Mohhamed without trading KVH and taking on that BUM TT. So he lied there. And then he publicizes and advertises Mohhamed to the New York crowd, we weren't happy at first- but now we love him. And what does he do? He puts him out there. What a disgusting thing to do. Isiah Thomas, do you have even a shred of respect for your own players?

But anyway I dont think there was any other way to get him and when the trade went down Isiah Thomas did say he was the main part of the deal becuase he felt Nazi had the potential to be a scorer, or somethin of that nature. I havent lost faith in TT yet either. I believe IT is smart and could turn TT around and have him playin to his full potential.

Now he's playing well so now he likes him. Plays like Trash=dislike Plays Good=like That's the way it works. Nazr was the third string center for the Atlanta Hawks. Anyone who wanted to take a chance on an unproven player with a large contract could have had him. The reason why Isiah traded Van Horn is because he doesnt (Isiah) doesnt like Van Horn's agent. At least that's what I hear. Van Horn and Mutumbo have the same agent and Isiah for some reason doesnt like the agent. So like an immature little child he traded them as if he was somehow getting back at the agent. You havent lost faith in TT yet?? Well you're a person of great faith because everyone else has given up on him ever being a real factor in games. Isiah is not just not smart. Isiah Thomas is a buffoon(not sure how to spell it but you know what I'm trying to say). A childish, immature buffoon. He's lied to all of us and tried to pull the wool over our eyes. He cant improve a team that's not already in the gutter. He must be stopped before he makes another stupid trade and puts us IN the gutter. We dont need the former slam dunk champion, we dont need "the big, sloppy, chump", what we need is time to see what we have when our team is fully healthy, we also need a new coach and finally a new GM.
I loved the way Isiah did on the court with the Pistons. He is without a doubt an excellent player. When he brought in Stephon Marbury I think many Knick fans jumped on the bandwagon (myself included). Isiah Thomas made some great draft moves: Ariza, Damon Stoudemire, and McGrady were a couple of the good ones. He also had a great influence on the Pacers players. If Isiah came to NY a little sooner Jermaine O'neal would have definitely be a Knick right now. Isiah Thomas I would say isn't a horrible GM (especially not in the same realm as Layden) but, he takes many risks that could prove very detrimental to a team. I understand Knick fans concerns. We don't want him to knock down the whole tower. It's like Isiah was making a card tower. He was coming along nicely but, then he was a bit too aggressive and knocked it down or atleast some of it.
