Looks as if Kobe is REALLY tired after playing every second of the three quarters...and now the Lakers are down by one (according to nba.com)...and that's after being up by 6-9 earlier.
Woohoo we pulled one out nice gamme by Kobe and Odom. Would have been betetr if Kobe got the ball a to Odom a little bit more i nthe fourth quarter but its ok. Both played very well and seems like theyre beginning to click. Lets Go Lakers.
S. Vujacic DNP (Coach's Decision) tierre does nothing but turn it over and miss layups...why dont we play sasha?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MR_SAC_KING:</div><div class="quote_post">The Game of the LA Teams...I See the Clippers actually giving the Lakers a hard time here.If the Lakers have problems with rebounding and slippery defense, than the Clippers could very well easliy take the game from the Lakers.so this is a very important game for the Lakers..another loss is going to make matters worse for the Lakers if they want to stay in the mix of the Pacfic division. But,If the Lakers just get some good offensive plays and bring a great Defensive oriented game on,the Lakers will win it. Here's my prediction...Last minute..but the Lakers will win by 1 Lakers 88 Clippers 87</div> nice score prediction, u were only a point off lol gg lakers !
The Lakers won, but I dont care who you are, you do not shoot 32 shots in a game. Kobe was feeling it yes, but he threw up unnecissary shots. Caron and Mihm struggled, but atleast Caron didnt force up shots. Odom had a good game, really came on strong in the mid 3rd after looking dead and out of it previous to then. Good win by the Lakers, almost let it slip away, I am actually kind of dissapointed with this win. We cant hold a lead, we are lucky Maggette had a bad shooting night and Simmons was in foul trouble all night or it would of been a different game for us.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Good game!!! GO job Odom, KB, and chucky. TRADE BROWN or let HIM go PLEASE!!!</div> You can't decide after every game, that if a player does bad, it's time to trade them You guys got lucky lol, last time the Clips were off a back to back OT game against Houston, and this time Brand wasn't there, which means Maggette was left free to jack up nonsense, especially with Simmons being in foul trouble <u>WE'LL BE BACK</u>

This has been Odom's best game, not by stats he played with the team, I am very happy with it. Kobe had a monster game but 32 shots is way to many, slot selection he needs to work on it, I know he gets it with nothing left but he did take some shots which were just stupid, I don't know if he was trying cuz he was on fire or something. Mihm, well what can you say....he really didn't play. Butler, so so game, missed a couple of open ones and a couple bad defensive plays, not his best game. Atkins, great game, felt he took smart shots and also used his quickness to be Jaric to the basket and such a lot which was huge because it keep the Lakers in the game for the first quarter. Tierre, pass then jump, not vice versa, we need to work on his stability going to hoop and why isn't he finishing like in preseason, have teams just got the word out on him to just give him good defense when driving to the hoop? Cook, good game, needs to control his anger, he has gotten a couple tech fouls lately, ALSO I noticed he played much better defense, saw him moving his feet and not playing with his hands more. Good imrovement. Divac, eh still getting back into things? Guess so, i have to say the pass to Kobe with the Dunk was sweet. Walton, nice 35 seconds of play, wish we could see more of him. Jones, I love what he brings to the game, his defense and toughness. Its great. Laker's played a good game, Odom stepped it up when Kobe was cold which was a surprise and he really showed he wanted to play, I saw him calling for the ball multiple times and showing a lot more emotion then games before, good game Lakers.
^^ I totally agree its just i dont understand why in the 4th quarter Kobe doesnt distribute the ball to Odom it seems as if Odom and the rest of the team are left out of the game i nthe 4th Quarter. Kobe just dribbles it up wastes time and jacks up th shot he needs to egt them involved too or else youre going to hear complaints. But as lonas youre winning you wont hear complaints so keep winning lol. Go Lakers!!!
I'm not going to complain about Kobe. When he was on the bench, the Lakers let the Clips go on an 8-0 run. He came back out on the court with around 8 minutes left, tired as hell, but led the Lakers to a 9-1 run and eventually winning the game.

Odom seemed to be really disgusted with Kobe until he started to get his in the mid 3rd. They really didnt look for Mihm, and Tierre...wow..why did we pick him over Bobbit in the first place? I would love to see more of Luke out there.
Why is everyodne making a big deal about the 32 shots he had 33 against phoenix no one was talking then and his career high is 47 he had to lead the team and thats what he did. Yes i know he jacked up a few shot i didint like either he was just trying to get the feel of the game.

We saw it in the Pheonix game, we saw it in the Magic game. The only way to build a team is to trust your team and we need to see Kobe passing the ball to those guys more when the game is on the line because we all think Odom and those guys are capable of scoring when it counts, but they don't get the ball. Also Kobe Haters I am not siding with you at all, Kobe is not being selfish but I just think when he sees the scoreboard with them down/close he just takes the game over leaving everone else and I don't think he needs to feel that way, I mean Odom is a good player who can really beat any other foward to the hoop and lay it over them, we need to utilize that more as a team and when games are on the line. That is the one thing I think is the problem, team work for the Lakers. We see the give and gos work a lot but when it comes down to the line, can kobe trust players like odom/butler/atkins to hit the game winner, i think we at least need to give them a shot and see what they can do because intill the Lakers build the team unity, well there not going to make playoffs and not going to be a championship caliber team.
Well, let's not just assume that Odom can beat guys to the hoop...because he also has to finish, and I've seen Odom miss wide open layups all season, for whatever reason I don't know. If Kobe feels it, then he's going to go for it. It's his instict. He's running the show now, just like Jordan did in Chicago and Bird in Boston. Here's what I don't understand, though. Everyone criticizes Kobe for his passing (or lack of), but the reigning MVP, Kevin Garnett, passes less than Bryant. I understand he's a PF/SF, but he's the leader of the pack, also, and has alot more touches than anyone else on that team. You never hear anything bad about KG. It doesn't make sense.
Reason why people don't knock on KG nor MJ for taking a million shots per game is because they actually make them, unlike Kobe, who's currently shooting UNDER 40%. Leader or not, that is unacceptable. MJ shot over 50% (ridiculous for a guard) and KG currently shoots 10% BETTER than Kobe right now and that's a HUGE difference. When you have players that are making around 50% of their shots, nobody's gonna knock them for not passing that much...
