Barbosa is only playing 14 minutes per game. Nash is putting up outstanding numbers throughout 20 games, 16 points per game and 11 assits per game. This is what the Suns thought they were getting when they signed Nash in the off-season. <div align="center">______________________</div> <div align="center">Shooting Guard:</div> <div align="center"></div> <div align="center">Quentin Richardson/Casey Jacobsen</div> Quentin Richardson and our entire shooting guard core have been inconsistant this season. Q-Rich can come out one night, drop 37 on somebody, come back the next night and go 1-13 and score 6 points. Jacobsen has been one of the Suns best free throw shooters this year at 83%, and is averaging 5 points per game in 19 minutes of work. <div align="center">___________________</div> <div align="center">Small Forward:</div> <div align="center"></div> <div align="center">Joe Johnson/Maciej Lampe</div> Johnson who is in a free agent year has been putting up nice, consistant numbers all year. Johnson who is #2 in the NBA in 3-point percentage with 54% is averaging 16 points per game and 4 boards in nearly 40 minutes of work. Lampe doesn't get to play as much, as he is a project in the making. <div align="center">________________</div> <div align="center">Power Forward:</div> <div align="center"></div> <div align="center">Shawn Marion/Jackson Vroman/Steven Hunter*</div> Marion has been a double-double machine all year. 20 points per game and nearly 12 boards. Jackson Vroman, the Suns 2nd round pick is only playing 6 minutes per game, he has a career high of 4 points. Steven Hunter has been putting up OK numbers for the limited play that he has, 1.47 blocks per game to go along with him 5 points. *= Thanks to Coranor for reminding me <div align="center">________________</div> <div align="center">Center:</div> <div align="center"></div> <div align="center">Amare Stoudemire/Jake Voskuhl</div> Amare has been probably one of the best players in the NBA this year, 26 points per game which is good for #2 in the NBA. 9 boards per game, and nearly 2 blocks per game. Jake Voskuhl has been on the injury list latly. __________________ Drop your comments on the Suns season so far...
Nice break down. i think that the lineup that the SUns have now make them the perfect or nearly perfect run and fast break team. How ever I think once the game goes into playoff mentality and they start getting into the half court game especially in the western conference I think they will suffer. I do not see Marion despite being a great defender being able to guard players like Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Chris Webber he just gives up to much length to these guys he is already under sized sometimes, but KG and D ar enot only tall they are long players in terms of wing span so they will be bale to use both to there advantage. Also I think the inconsistantcy point was very good. When you get into the playoffs you can not have that form your players or you will suffer for it. There is no back to backs in the current playoff formate so they will get a day to practice, and rest so hopefully that will help there consistancy a little for them to be successful come playoff time though I think they need to get a true center that will put up decent numbers, and not ask for so much from Amare. I dont think you can depend on Jake Voskuhl he is to foul prone and will not be able to give a long rest to Amare in agame do to him getting into quick foul trouble. I think that Steve Nash has been a surprise for the Suns this seaso and is really earning his keep when it comes to his contract. I do not think anyone expected him to play this well this season due to his age and the young team he would have to lead, but he has done incredable using these young guys athletism to there full potential so far in the season and the more they play together the better it will become.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FooDoggg3xB:</div><div class="quote_post">all im saying is SUNS are gonna win it all this year. Theyre unstoppable..........</div> Meh? If they can beat seatle, sac, san antonio, and mini then the suns have a chance. But, they have not beaten anyone hard yet.
One key win I think should be added: Tue November 16 | @ Dallas W 107 - 103 But apart from those games, they haven't really won against other contenders, lost against Minnesota and Sacramento. And you should at least mention one other player: Steve Hunter, he averaged 12MpG in 17 games in which he blocks 1.47 shots per game providing you with some solid low post presence off the bench.
