Link This game just ended. With the win over the defending champions, we are now 10-13, which also puts us ahead of Houston in the standings and 3.5 games behind the Clippers for the 8th seed. We could really turn things around here in the next few games, especially if we get Jason Williams back. I'm not sure what Fratello has done to this team, but all of a sudden we're back to our winning ways.

You might dismiss it as coincidence, but could that be why they're back to their winning ways? Personally, I think it's just the natural kick in the pants that sucking so much that it's affecting your coaches health so much that he retires provides. And that Earl Watson is nuts. We're I believe 4-2 since Hubie cut his losses. Rotating Battier, Miller, and Bonzi as the starters has been good for the team, too. Mike Miller's playing the best ball of his career right now. Bonzi and Battier have been ... Bonzi and Battier. ... sucks JP still hasn't come around.

Here's the quotes from J-Wills Yahoo Player Bio: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Williams, averaging just 9.3 PPG and 5.6 APG this season, has been the subject of trade rumors in recent days, as there are reports coming out of Memphis that new coach Mike Fratello may prefer Earl Watson as his starting PG. 99% of trade rumors don't ammount to anything, but the nugget to be gleaned from the trade talk is that the new coaching regime might not be as supportive of JWill's negatives (lack of defensive intensity, perception that he quits on plays/games, screaming at assistant coaches) as the old staff was. This could also mean more playing time for defensive-minded team player Earl Watson, who is currently starting while Williams is injured. For Williams owners, this is a situation well-worth paying attention to. </div>

Why hasn't there been a trade yet? Also, why would Jerry keep Jason on the bench until he can work out a trade? That could take months upon months.
