K-Mart & Tim May Get Ugly

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tim Thomas and Kenyon Martin will not meet in a boxing ring today, just a basketball court.
The two will go mano-a-mano today at the Garden for the first time since their vicious war of words last April during the Nets-Knicks playoffs when Thomas called the former Net forward "a fugazy" and "fake tough guy."

"The statements are over," Thomas declared.

But are the fisticuffs just beginning? When training camp opened, Thomas challenged Martin to a boxing match. </div>

Anyone else here sick of this nonsense?
Tim Thomas is going through an identity crisis.
Tim- You're a bum, you have no respect from anybody in the league. Stop crying for attention.

Tim Thomas will have to reflect his anger on the court in order to gain back respect. If he is talking all of that smack and can't back it up it means he is the fugazy. On the other hand, if TT has a great game and Martin has a bad one it means he (TT) is still the fugazy! You have to play basketball all the time not just when you feel like it. I personally would rather be a fake thug than a fake player. You are paid millions to play ball not to be a thug and I could care less who can beat one another up as long as you give me my W's than that is the only thing that matters.

Kenyon can take Tim Thomas. Anyways, didn't Jason Collins foul him not Kenyon?

Yes. But Kenyon Martin called him an underacheiver (Which is absolutely true) that was the start of the bad blood between Martin and Thomas. There are other instances in which they exchanged insults to each other through the media. For example, Tim Thomas later called Kenyon Martin a 'fugazy' [IMG] . Really, Martin didn't have to say that, everyone knows that Thomas is a horrid underacheiver, and Tim Thomas being the imbecile that he is have to respond in a moronic way.
Childish, that's what it all is.

First of all maybe I am just a hick from Iowa and its a New York thing or something but what is fugazy? [IMG] Second Name calling and trash talking has been around for a long time but when you physically call someone out to a boxing ring you have gone too far. [IMG] Prove who the real man is on the court. I got admit though if it was on pay per view I would probably watch it.

I agree with you on everything you said. That fugazy thing is definitely not a New York thing. I didn't know what that was either. It means a fake thug from his Donnie Brosco movies or someting. The real man as you said is what they do on the court. I would watch that on Pay per view too
